Whilst it might present a curio of great interest, to have a Troll remove his pants, it must be borne in mind that Trolls in their natural state are extremely hairy to the point of being furry. In their natural state, Trolls do not wear clothes at all since they have no need for them, but when they venture into human company of course, they find they must. Generally, they will go for clothes that cover as much of their bodies as possible, since those parts left exposed must be shaved frequently to avoid detection as a Troll. Thus, when our Troll should remove his pants we might well find that a thick coat of fur is beneath, with little else to see, especially anything we might like to have seen.
Exposure in this way could also endanger our Troll, since this year's troll cull is still in full swing, and troll fur is prized on the catwalks of Milan and Paris, having a similar feel to it as sable. Stroke a troll next time you find one; it will be softest fur you ever came across, whilst you will be the latest person the troll came across.
Therefore I say, let the troll keep his pants on, in public at least, to keep him safe. In private though, get his pants off and stroke all you like.
