hello i am a young dom, but i have been on the scene for three years. i feel that age should never be a factor when considering a dom. sure it is important to have experience, but i think devotion to the cause is a lot more important. i have had subs older than me and they have been very positive. i have recieved many compliments about my techniques. i cannot tell you how much being a dom has meant to me, it has really been a entirely diffrent life.my interest in the lifestyle started when i read the book marketplace. ever since then i have not looked back, and i don't know if i ever will.

Welcome to Collarme. I agree that age is only one factor, but you might want to consider that for many submissives guidance in life decisions is something they are looking for in a dom. In a case like that I hardly think it would make sense for someone to expect to be guided by someone who has many years less life-experience. For a lot of people in BDSM this is about more than the ability to spank, or do bondage...as I'm sure you're well aware. Just something to consider. Welcome again, to Collarme.com. Cin

Hi and welcome to the forums at CM! Here on the forums we love to discuss all aspects of life and the lifestyle! So jump on in, the water is fine! Well my Master is 10 years younger than myself. He has a better understanding of the dynamics between people he can usually read people very well, and he has a lot of experience as well. So in many regards i find myself saying WOW you were right! its a hard lesson to learn lol.

Age alone may not always determine everything. Preference on the other hand does. Not every woman wants a young guy, and not every young guy wants a 60 yr old woman, but there are many that do. Personal preference is more powerful than what you think things should be (or should not be). Be confident in who you are and what you want (regardless of your age), and the women who want the type of dom you are will come running and kneel for you. I'm curious what the book had...I want to look it up now. It's amazing the different things that awaken each of us.
