I know that there are a few Dommes that ask for tribute to weed out the players, but I recently read a profile of a sub that was asking for a tribute. In my opinion a sub does not ask for a tribute. I would like to see what others think about this.

If the sub is a professional one and providing a service I fail to see the problem. I like buying gifts and receiving them so maybe my view point different?

Seeking tributes to prove yourself before you know someone is looked upon poorly most of the time, no matter what side of the whip you are on. They prove nothing about how real someone is. Are you certain that the sub was being serious in her or his request, and not just making a joke about the number of Dommes asking for trubute?

I think anyone can ask for tributes. I also think they have every right to ask if that is what they desire. Asking and getting, though...two different animals.

I think anybody that ask for a tribute on a free site is a cheapskate. If you want to work as a pro Domme or sub, then pay the price for a commercial site.

People have enough problems financing a relatationship as it is without any additional costs. It doesn't really help anyone sub or dom to trust someone who is asking for money.

I dunno, I do think a sub who asks for a trib. can do it but I think she's more of a bottom because I dont think submissive girls should ask for money or tell the other how to dominate her.

Maybe its a retaliation against the "gift of submission" thing. Eitherway, this is the first I've heard of a sub asking for a tribute.
