I know that Dom/me mentors exist, but do sub mentors exist and if so, how do you contact one?

Yes submissive mentors exist. I am a submissive and I have helped mentor (as best I could anyway) and given advice to people both online and in real life. As for finding one, I would suggest finding a submissive whom you respect and simply asking for advice.

Can you clarify....are you looking for a mentor of any role to mentor a submissive or are you looking for a mentor who IS submissive?

To be honest, it wouldn't matter to me--I just want to enter into my first experience with some knowledge of how to act, what to do, ect.

Just be yourself!

Congratulations on your bravery and for reaching out for guidance. To me, that shows some good smarts : )  I define myself as slave and am mentoring
a submissive person at this time, it is possible and so far it is working for all people involved.

Best of luck,
Syn

Others are very right: be yourself. There are no universal laws about Ds and certainly no manual about how to act. If someone doesn't approve of you being you, then they are not a match for you. If you find a school of thought that appeals to you, find a mentor inside that school. It's ok to look and watch for someone who fits with you and impresses you.

The only rules of thumb that apply here are really the rules found in polite society: be polite and courteous, be neat and clean, be attentive when someone else is talking, etc. etc. Hopefully you know how to do these things already. But, even these rules can be bent in a Dom/sub relationship; some people simply do not want to be treated the way you want to be treated (it's taken me a while to grasp that).

Mentor's don't find you.  You find mentor's.  Yes, they do exist.
Find someone whom you identify with and contact them.  Simple as that.
Those who are eager to mentor you, I'd stay away from.  Many have alternate adgendas.

My mentor was a Dom but he had a slave and she helped me in ways he as a Dom could not so a submissive can be a good mentor.  They do exist.

First off, good luck on your search and actually being willing to take that step in finding one that can help you in learning.

I think mentors can be a very positive thing in ones life.

I have had friends in the lifestyle that had Mentors and really helped them through some tough times.

I have never taken that step myself to find a Mentor for me, but sometimes I do think about it.

I dunno if you'd call me a mentor but a lot of subbies come to me for advice and I've helped a lot of em.  So I'd suppose anyone can be a mentor if they are willing to help ya out and have good advice.  If u need anything, write me and I'll see what I can do.
