If you look at some of the other posts you will see that other introductions that were personals were also removed.
There are Section Guidlines that state exactly what is considered inappropriate for these boards.

Please feel free though to join us in discussing of all areas of the lifestyle and welcome to the boards.

If it's blatant, it's gone.

If it's a borderline post then it may be edited, removed or left as is AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MODERATORS... not rennaissanceenme.

Pretty simple when it's spelled out in black and white for ya now isn't it? :)

PS: quit screaming. Caps-lock is just badform.

Hi renaissancenme, welcome to Collarme. Yes, it can be frustrating when a post gets deleted. To answer your question, the rules apply to everyone. Please keep in mind that this is a free site and the moderators are volunteers - putting in long hours and getting nothing in return. (except maybe a headache). Sometimes messages get missed or are removed later than we might like.

If you see a post that you feel is in violation of the Terms of Service, you can file a report. This will ensure that a moderator look at the offending post in a timely fashion. To file a report, simply click on the link that is in the lower right hand corner of each message.

At any rate, I am glad that you joined us here. I hope you will consider reading and participating in the message boards. They are often fun, educational and even a way of making friends. Of course, searching the profiles over on the personals side of this website is also popular.

I hope you enjoy your stay here!
