Well, Collarme made it to the news... wish it could have been over something a bit better.

 i'm surprised they didn't add stalking against him since he had photos of her sitting in a rail car but i guess that would the other raps not mentioned in the article. also, i see his court-appointed attorney asked for the charges to be lowered though he does have a history of assualting his wife.

That is horrible!
Lately more and more, really wrong stuff has been in the courts and on the news about supposed BDSM. By supposed I mean real sick, mean people do real unconsentsual crime for psycopathic satisfaction or  like this case - revenge and manipulation.

Most of us here know that wiitwd can be SSC and great fun mutual benefial and even loving.

It is a goddamn shame collarme was abused towards that "honcho"s sick goal. CM was raped, in a way!
I have no words how awful that is, what it may mean to this honest site, to most here participating with truth and trust, and to consentual fun in general. This is not funny.

While nothing really bad ever happened to me - I have been considering leaving SM anyway.
Clearly: I don't even have a profile any more ( no fault or concern about this site or those here) and I may never again. 

BTW, I don't think "real life" is 100% safe either. Sharp psychos can wear "masks" and deceive many to real harm.

It is not about males or females or tops or bottoms. Just everybody-

I really have no words. I am hopeful others can think and share to save the ship and its passengers.
( so we don't have to hear Celine Dion sing any more - I have to joke, or I'd just vomit, sorry)

PS Men- please think twice before acting out a strangers fantasy. If the man did do the rape, he'd be in jail too! Women - please stop writing you will do anything, no limits. irregardless of the message board topic,

it is a badge of honor for Law enforcement to convict cyber crime.

I guess this just serve to remind us to be careful about how we greet and meet people in general on the internet. There's always going to be that 1%, as long as we keep are eye's open and only believe what we see, we should be fine.

I just hope that the people that cause this type of trouble do not bring there trouble to this site or the people within. It would be unfair for a reputation to stick due to actions of only a couple of people.

That article was horribly written. "pricey" button down, "ritzy" neighborhood. This is supposed to be a ligitimate publication, not your high school newspaper.

As for listing CM in print.. think of how many people are coming to the site to "stare at the freaks"

As a born and raised NYker, I can tell you the Post is about one step up from the Enquirer. So ignore the article if it offends you. It's certainly no true reflection of the type of people who post here. There's always going to be some nut case around. We all know the nuts cases now, dont we? Yup. Pretty much.

I havent read the original post the guy made, so I cant say what we told the guy, er, woman who posted. But we're a pretty sensible crowd in general. Not a bunch of "hard core" pushers for a cause. So worry not.

Wow, the Post is being taken more seriously here on this forum than it is in about all of the city of NY. Thre were diehard subscribers who would get it just for the 4 pages of funnies every day.
If tis were in a legit newspaper, then maybe Id worry.  But the Post is a rag.  And if anyone wants to come see my picture on here, let em.  I bet some of the freak-watchers will come across me and think "Hey, she looks an aweful lot like the lady who taught my english class... WAIT she IS the lady that taught my english class"
Just goes to show, never make yourself recognizable if you are not willing or able to own up to what you do. If its realy that important that you not be finable, then dont post pictures or information that could only be you.  Let the anonymity of the site work for you.

I have seen this "woman"'s profile, asking to be kidnapped and raped.  It sometimes changed day-to-day, someone "near" Stamford, CT, I do believe.  It was too ridiculous a notion to even consider, whether One is into roleplay or not, to consider "raping" a woman, "abducting" her, without SSC involved made the offer iself smell worse than the air just east of Pittsburgh.

It is not about "outing" someone!

It was about an asshole with a good job who people thought was a reputable person who used pics of his girlfriend ( whatever the relationship is with them doesn't matter) and posing as her on a website.

Posing as her, without her knowledge or consent. Giving out personal details.

Not the least: trying to sucker some fool Dom into believing she was a real hot slut looking for a stranger to rape her at his whim.

How would you like some unknown creep attack you in the middle of the night, totally unaware. Chic did NOT ask for it, write the ad and did not volunteer for a rape scene. She was set up to be violently attacked by malicious jerk.

   OK? This is NOT the same as an organized capture rape with consent at an event or something that the girl was wanting.
