I want a younger man -- be it for Ds or vanilla relationship. I just personally find them more attractive. But then again my husband is 1 year older than me so it isn't always the case; my slave however is 11 yeas younger than I and we've been together for over 7 years.

I prefer men around my own age, plus or minus ten years. However, there are other Dommes who prefer younger subs. I would recommend getting out into circulation at some local BDSM events to improve your odds of finding a nice Domme. Lady Topaz

26 up to 40 ... But one I have been talking to is 56. So it really depends. I try not to really look at age. But I have always liked my men older.

Age preferences vary widely. I'm in the minority here, as I prefer 21-35. Your chance to make a good first impression is with your profile. I have found that most Dommes (myself included) will likely list a age range they prefer, if they really do have hard preferences. So read that. I mean, really, read that. If you're not in that age range, and you are honestly very interested, then contact her for friendship only. I agree with some others in that I tend to be attracted to and prefer younger men. however, not TOO young. on the flip side, there are plenty of younger men with whom I an totally imcompatible because they act younger than their age. Getting down into the low 20's and late teen's to me is usually a red flag and I will likely not consider them, but will still talk to them to make a better determination. I'm pretty firm though on the upper age limit. I simply am not attracted to older men. Unless of course you're Brad Pitt, Richard Gere or Anderson Cooper. ha. So superficial, but screw it. I've spoken to quite a few young men on here in their early 20's. while one 21 yr old was horrendously immature, another 22 yr old was his polar opposite and very compatible. Everybody involved has to at least have an open mind to a degree when dealing with age, while still respecting their hard age limits.

I set my max between 45 and 50...I just don't see anyone older than that as compatible, though I'll talk with someone and give them a chance. However, my lower age limit is 18. Like belljar, maturity and personality matter a lot more to me than a number.

Do improve your profile. Put yourself in the shoes of the ideal woman you hope to attract. Who is she? What would she want of you? What would you love to do for her? What would you find annoying or boring but would do for her because that is what submission and service is about, her happiness? Think about all of that and put the answers and ideas in your profile. I don't think there is a hard and fast rule about ages, just as others have said here. At the same time, most people don't come into the life until they are in the later 20s. Thus, because of cultural tastes, social conditioning and social circles, general life interests, goals, maturity levels, etc. you shouldn't be surprised to know that most Dominants IMO will tend to stick to someone in their general generation, plus or minus about 10 years. Not a rule as goodness knows everyone is different, but it isn't any different than dating in that area. I for one am glad that the profile search feature here doesn't force you to put ages/occupations/education in your profile. If I had said that (said I needed someone over 25, uni educated and professional) I'd not have found My current pet. so do know that Dommes are women and human first, and will make choices quite often based on individuals, not on some glorified perfect archetype. I've personally met some amazing younger men here, as young as 18, that I find to be very good subs, and have met some awful older men who are horrid subs... and vice versa. so don't assume your issue is age. Work it!

I set an age range of 37 - 50 but you can be 22 and if you have white hair I won't be attracted.
