About your own personal experiences?Anyway here goes i was once at my mums old house once visiting, when someone pulled my shirt hard, gave it a hard tug basically.I turned around thinking that my mum was mucking about, but when i turned around do you know who was there?Yes you've guessed it i got quite a fright as no one was there.

Also i took a photo of myself once using my mobile phone, and to my suprise an old friend appeared in the photo, well in the background actually.I was quite close to this lady, but i had'nt seen her for a little while. And i'd later found out that she had died. But they do say that the dead return to visit the people that they were very happy with in life.So i guess i was having a visitation if you like, when i took this photo of myelf.

Also where i use to live well,i was sleeping on the couch.Only to be awoken by the sound of samashing plates,i could'nt find any broken plates anywhere.I mentioned my ordeal to the landladys daughter, and she asked me where i was sitting when this experience occured.I showed her exactly where i was sittting, and she imformed me that she had the same experince sitting in the same chair. But when i think hard,i think it could of been the spirit of her father who i heard. As he was Greek, and it's customary for them to smash plates.

I've never seen anything.  I live in this house that was converted to apartments.  It was originally built in the mid-1800's so it was pretty old and had some history.  The sink in the bathroom would turn on by itself no matter how tight you turned the knob.  Not all the way on, just a light stream.  Also I rarely went into the attic.  I was never able to feel at ease up there.  I would feel a pressure kind of sensation all over...like being underwater without getting wet.  Never had anything like that in any other house.

In my early twenties, was in the kitchen boiling water for coffee and felt a tug on my shirt. I turned around expecting it was one of my roommates but no one else was there.

In the last place I lived, one sunday morning I was online and my partner at the time was still sleeping. I felt someone tapping my shoulder to get my attention, I stopped what I was doing, turned around and yet nobody was standing behind me.

Occasionally I've smelled the aroma of lilacs in dead of winter or sometmes strawberries. It'll be a faint whiff yet I don't use anything contain these scents.

Also my mum lost a dear white cat,she was a really lovely cat she really was.But last year now she passed away due to old age,her name was Rosie. Then for the following three days a butterfly was seen by myself on one occaison.

And by other family members, but this butterfly was going in all of the spots that Rosie, would use to go in.And i later found out, that the animal or it can be a human aswell which, just in this case it was a cat.Which returns to earth as a butterfly, and it's spirit is in visitation in the form of this butterfly, now this will only last for three days.As in our families case Rosie was letting us know that she was ok,and that she has crossed over into the land of spirits.Which i thought was very sweet of her,but she was a really lovely sweet cat afterall. And i guess she had to return for one last time to say im ok,thanks for everything i love you all.

If you'd really like to know, feel free to mail me on the other side.  (What's with my unintentional puns lately?  Sheesh.  LOL.)  I love my ghost hunting.  And I'm sure LAM will be along shortly to say, "Yeah, we all know already.  Hush."  [;)]

I was up in Missouri last year helping my dad settle the estate of his mom. She and I never got along to well. WHile I was sleeping in the front room, I woke up after getting hit in the head. I thought it was my dad throwing a shoe at me to wake me up, but when I looked around he wasn't there. Still upstairs. What hit my head was a picture of me that /was/ hanging on the other side of the room about ten feet away.

I live in an old miner's cottage, we started hearing what sounded like heavy boots walking across bare floorboards upstairs. As time went on, the footsteps started coming futher and further down the stairs. My dogs would go crazy, hackles up and peeing everywhere. Then my daughter asked me why I kept turning her light on and off at night and waking her up.
I looked in the yellow pages and found the number for a spititual retreat in Wales. When I called, all I said was that I had a problem I was hoping they could help me with. The woman I spoke to told me that I had a male presence in my house who was lost and didn't know how to leave. She told me she was sending someone to guide him over...the temperature in the house dropped so much that we were breathing out clouds of cold air, the dogs went apeshit, and then it went totally calm and you could feel the change in the atmosphere. She told me that he had gone over and was at peace. Up till then, I didn't have an opinion on it one way or another. Now I definitely believe, call it ghosts or whatever, but I think a person's spirit carries on somehow.
