I came to Collarme.com on the recommendations of a few friends who had said it was a good site. I'm still exploring and seeing what is here. I hope to find some good discussions about the lifestyle, some open minds who are interested in the exchange of ideas. If I can make some friends along the way, so much the better. Since my profile is still pending approval, I'll post just a lil bit about myself here.

I'm 37, single master, who has been active off an on in the lifestyle since late 1994. I'm self employed, own my own business, work hard, play hard an have too many hobbies. I read a great deal and also do some writing, including some lifestyle essays. I enjoy a good discussion, hate arguments. I try to help folks where I can, answer questions about the lifestyle in those areas where I'm knowledgeable. I am confident, but try not to cross the line into arrogance. I consider myself a gentleman and am quite proud of that. I'm generally quite friendly, though I have my bad days like anyone else. I'm quite sincere and serious about this lifestyle and don't have much tolerance at all for those just playing games with it.

I think that'll do for a first introduction, anything else you want to know, just ask.

Cordially,
Padriag

Hi Padriag and welcome to the forums at CM!

Good luck on the other side of the CM house(personals). Here on the forums we like to discuss life and the lifestyle. Yes as proudsub said it would be great to share your thoughts with others who might be new and needing some guidance.

So jump on in the water is fine!!!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've already made a few posts and I'm sure there will be a lot more. Right now I'm just trying to read and catch up on what has been posted by others, get my profiles and things set up, and exploring all the site features. It seems like a very well put together site, kudo's to its creators.

Here's a bit more about me. I've done some mentoring over the years but I do less and less of that these days. I find I just don't have the time and energy for it like I used to, too many other demands in my life. I do still try to help people where I can. I've done a lot of reading, studying and work on the psychological and emotional side of this lifestyle. I can often explain why we do the things we do fairly well and guide folks through a better understanding of that. I'm also a strong advocate of responsiblity, both in dominant and in submissives. When I was exploring and learning about this lifestyle on my own, I lacked the support of a group and the information and guidance such groups can often provide. To fill in the gaps I fell back on my interest in psychology and counseling. That sometimes gives me a different perspective on things than others. It will be interesting to see how that fits in here.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome. Looking forward to chatting and sharing.
