If this is the case, what music would you class as christian? As not to offend the dear Pope.

I personally don't care what the Pope thinks, does or says.

Damn, Aquatic, you've got an entirely different breed of Baptists than I was incarcerated, oops... educated by for a couple years.  Jesus and Journey couldn't co-exist with that bunch.

My inner violent heathen likes smart, angry metal (it's rare but does exist), the Zen student likes Pink Floyd, and the lousy Lutheran really digs the Christmas music.

You know there is a huge difference between being Christian and being Catholic. I'm Christian and I'm a Baptist. At my church (it's very liberal for Baptists) we welcome homosexuals, wear jeans, give services about how Jesus probably wouldn't buy the "WWJD" bracelets, how the paster felt after watching the movie "Sin City", we take communion once a month, and we don't have confessionals. More importantly, we don't listen much to the man in the funny hat.

No offense to the Catholics out there. I'm sure the funny hat man is very nice. [:)]

I've grown up around two different verisons of the Baptist church. However, I still don't get all the Baptist jokes because neither of them fit the religion they were describing. This second one (the one I talked about) is just wonderful. I really do feel very at home there. I just wish I could make service more often!

Whats new, another out of touch with reality Pope.

The Pope must have a huge following, because this Pope and the past Dopes I mean Popes seem to cast judgement, and condemn future followers. I guess there is enough people throwing big bucks in the collection plates, and they do not need anymore.

I'm not one of Benedict's biggest fans (to put it mildly), but I'd prefer to hear what the man actually said before commenting on it.

Sounds reasonable.
