Rapists are indeed, very sick people. Valyraen has a favored punishment for them featuring their genatilia and white hot swords. However, rape fantasies are quite common in women. There is a large difference between a fantasy and something would actually turn you on to do in real life. I have many fantasies about intruders. Rape can be about sex, it can be about power, it can be about just misunderstanding the signals. I presume it can be about lots of other things as well. Play rape presumably can be about lots of things as well. What two or more people do as consenting adults is up to them. What one or more people do to a person who is not consenting may be against the law. It is our duty as responsible adults to make sure we know the difference. Unfortunately for rape to occur it has to be penetration by the penis. I have recently learned. If not I presume it is sexual assault which perhaps carries a lighter sentence. What would I do to the perpetrator of rape. I don't know. It depends on the circumstances like everything else in life. However the next person who tells me that a woman is asking for rape by wearing certain clothes or acting in a certain way will get a very caustic reply. Women are sexual creatures just like men and just like men the need for sex can overide sense. One of our main problems is that sex is still a dirty word. If we talked about it more and did it more then perhaps it would become less evocative and destructive.

Ok, 2 things here. (I have not yet read any other responses yet, so keep that in mind) #1) A rape fantasy and a rape are two totally different things. That is why I could not even answer your survey. It is too far off base and does not allow for the difference between fantasy & reality #2) To lump all the people (Male & Female) who have a Fantasy about a "controlled, agreed upon scene" with real rapists & victims is totally ludicrous. A rapist is a very sick individual who needs to be put down in my opinion. That being said, I have rape fantasies, and many subs I have known have fantasies of being raped. We discussed it, agreed on a scene location & limits (if any) and agreed on safe words. Then we played out the scene. This in no way shape or form means that I would want to rape an unwilling woman or that the woman I was with wanted to get raped for real. Therefore, I am stating again... Your lumping together people with rape fantasies with rapists is as wrong as if I was to say your gay because you like it when a mistress fucks you with a strapon. Or as ridiculous as thinking that because someone sometimes likes to play out a "Daddy/daughter" scene that they condone child molestation. Do rapist and child molesters sometimes search out subs in our community? Yes. Just as they do everywhere these days. The answer is to spend the time to get to know the person before you meet with them. Make the first meeting in Public. People with those kinds of sicknesses can rarely hide it for more than a month or so of daily contact with a sub. Your post (The heading & survey) reads like you have been hurt because you ran off to someone you did not take the time to know. If that is the case, I am sorry for your pain, but that would not be smart in the vanilla world either. Sorry if you got hurt, but that is no reason to start making blanket statements about unrelated things like fantasies and reality. Michael, Rape has absolutely NOTHING to do with sex...it has everything to do with violence and anger directed at the victim. That's why the victim is often beaten, maimed, mutilated or killed. There are studies all over the medical, psychiatric and legal fields that support that. I'm talking about rapists here, NOT child molesters....they are a totally different breed of slime, with a different psychological mindset. What is involved with a rapist is different......they get off on causing pain and fear, they are intentionally using a simple sexual act as a weapon. Using foreign objects because they can't sustain an erection comes to mind. One of the sickest crime scene pics I ever saw was one of a rape victim who ended up dead because the rapist shoved a broomstick through her so hard, it was literally sticking out of her shoulder next to her neck. If you had ever seen what I have seen, you would agree wholeheartedly that sex has nothing to do with rape. As for the rapist in the prison shower....hey, I also believe in street justice......even murderers have wives, girlfriends, children.......I have no sympathy for them when they too get to see what it was like when they took their lives from their victims.

personally as a vicimt of rape, i am all for nailing thier offending items to a tree with a nail, then setting the tree on fire. after doing this you hand them a rusty razor blade, they then have two options. cut it off, or burn. i personally think this would be a wonderful punishment. having said that, i still enjoy rape fantasies. it wasnt my fault, and it had nothing to do what so ever with sex. not a thing. it was just some sicko that was getting off on a power trip, period. lee

Michael I can't believe you said that...Rape IS ALL about anger, rage and violence NOT SEX...When I was raped as a young girl it wasn't the sexual act that lasted the longest and what hurt me the most it was the violence. I suffer with mild seizures to this very day from the head injury I suffered...They beat me until I bled from every part of my body...the sex was the smallest part of it...there is so much rage in their eyes and even sometimes men will rape a woman with foreign objects because he is angry not because he is horny...You have never lived through it so you can't speak a word on it....point blank.
