i recently read Fledgeling by Octavia E. Butler. i absolutely LOVED the Ina, the vampire-ish people in the book. And i loved the set-up of the Ina-symbiont relationship. Though the book had waaay too many grammar and spelling errors (i was raised by an English teacher...errors annoy me), i loved how it was written, and read Fledgeling in three days (during which i worked 10 hours a day, soo...yea, i think that was pretty fast).
So, question. What do y'all think would be the best book to read next by her. i have fallen in love with Fledgeling, and i am VERY into vampire settings in novels. Does she have any others about the Ina? i know there's a series about slaves or something..'Parable'...but i've heard it's very afro-centric, and i'm not really into that.
So what do y'all think? No wrong answer; just looking for opinions :D
