are there any slaves out there not allowed to celebrate their bday? [i hope then answer is NO!

i couldnt fathom why, but could imagine a strict Master saying "no"

Happy Birthday!

I am sure there are hardcore people who live that way but I hope there are few. I think it is nice that there is a day set aside for people who care about us to contact us to express their best wishes and for us to have a little guilt free self indulgence even if we are their for our owners can be a good thing as well.

Some religions are against birthdays, and some cultures celebrate multiple days- name days and such.

Personally I'd have preferred my former master to just tell me to celebrate on my own instead of telling me to remind him every day for two weeks, and then getting me something from the gift shop not wrapped with the tags still on them on the way home from work on the day of.

Yes there have been a couple of Masters i have served that the only birthday celebrated or spoke of were their own. i have not celebrated one in many years and have already been warned that will not be the case this year. Of course i can hope He forgets between now and Oct.

Happy 23rd Birthday!!!!

I'm not living with my Master as of yet so I don't know if my celebrating a birthday is permissable or not! Either way it won't matter to me as I usually don't make a big fuss over it lol.

Happy Birthday! I'm allowed to celebrate mine but I don't know about others. I just asked if he minded me going out for drinks with friends and he didn't care. I was hoping he would come along but he was wasn't feeling well that night. So I came home somewhat early and we watched some videos while cuddling. Best birthday ever!

I have decided that if I can do something, a man can do it as well. I will no longer accept that a man "forgets dates", can't call, can't approach me. If I can do it (dates with the help of my PDA and Outlook Calendar), THEY CAN! They have no excuse. Glad to see he is a "former"...
