Ladies' toes poll!


My toes are graduated, big to small

My second (or third) toe is longer than my big toe

This came up in another thread, and as its something that interests me as something likely related (like finger sizes) to hormone levels and so on, and I have dozens of possible respondents to survey......

And if anyone has an explanation for these differences, I'd be interested too!

Status: offline 		Well on my right foot, the second toe may be just a smidge longer than my big toe, but it's not noticeable.  On my left foot, the toes are gradual going down in size.

My oldest sister has a second toe (right foot) that is much longer than her big toe and she won't wear sandals because of it.    Her hubby always jokes that when she was born, they musta grabbed her by that toe and pulled her out.

There is a genetic component to it, but I can't remember what it's called. 

I didn't answer the poll cuz each tootsie is different.

My son was born the exact same way, only it's his left foot!  No one else in the family has that....and I always wondered what the heck it was all about, lol.  I always called it his "crab toe".

As for me, they're the same.

knows one sort of foot is called a roman foot ...

the other a grecian foot...

( as in big toes longer than second toes)

but for life on me cant remember which is which

Status: offline 		I just realized...when my right foot is flat, the toes graduate, but when I hold it up, the 2nd to is longer.

I'm afraid to find out what the hell that means!

Status: offline 		my second and third toes are longer than my big toe, and my fourth toe is the same length as my big toe. i kinda have monkey toes. i can pick things up with them. they bend and flex all kinds of weird ways. i dont think they are supposed to be doing all this mess. it just doesnt seem right.

Status: offline 		My second toe is quite a bit longer than my big toe. I even got told by a few morons that I had weird ugly feet because of it.

Pfffttt, they are just not, in the know, foot connoisseurs.

I have a toe talent...I can move ONLY my pinky toe...or ONLY my big toe...or ONLY the three middle toes together. In other words, I can control the 3 tendons for the toes individually. Now, if I could find a way to make money from this....
