Well, I do not have that issue, but men can be weird. Doesn't matter if they are Top or bottom.

Eh , it is useful, as stated you can tell if someone viewed your profile, your couple profile etc.

As for the mix, I occasionally post comments, so I should expect looks. I think the mixture is simply who is reading at the moment. I look at profiles of pple I see on the boards, irregardless of their sexual preference. OH and I viewed a certain Domme . Everyone should have a bit of everything on thier viewership. :P

I have had a few say hello, and I to them.

Works great thus far.  But I know SOME have expressed that this would annoy them, so I tread lightly.

Funny.  I looked at who was viewing me and, of course, I viewed them.  One woman sent me an email to the effect of "Can I help you"?  I was pretty surprised since she viewed me first but whatever.

It hasn't happened here, but I had a few strange experiences on Alt.com until I changed my settings to view profiles privately.  One man wrote to me saying how sorry he was that he disappointed me, which he feels he did because I viewed his profile, yet did not write to him.  I told him it was nothing personal, it just appeared that we didn't have anything in common.  Another viewed my profile, then I viewed his, and he took that as a sign of strong interest (it was only curiousity) and wrote to me professing his undying devotion.  I got rather tired of this nonsense, so changed the settings to view profiles privately without showing up on the other person's list.

I haven't encountered anything like that here on Collarme, and hopefully I won't, since there isn't an option to view someone's full profile without showing up on their list.

You're lucky.  It's happened a couple of times to me.  I mean, I look at profiles a lot (mostly for amusement) and when I read an interesting post I often view the profile of the poster.  Plus, I look to see who is viewing me and then I'll view that person.  I remember that view in private button on alt.

I'm enjoying the new feature.  So far about 95% of my viewers are submissive males.  I will look at a profile based on a forum posting or if the profile pops up when I log in and the photo catches my eye.  Or even if the nic seems interesting.  Still it is kinda cool to know people are viewing my profile and I am appealing to my target audience.

Aha!

One more testament to the fact that Most Dominant Males truly believe a Domme is merely a sub who hasn't met the right Dom.

i have alot of views...too bad that guys just don't get it...but it makes blocking and hiding the little buggers easier

i just wish that there was a way to remove their names off of that screen, so i don't have to look at them any more

i would have wrote her back "damn.... i hope so!"
some people like me are just nosey and will look at anyones profile if they posted something Interesting on the forums.
her profile is a public thing its not like you are looking over her fence into her back yard while she sunbathing or something.

I admit it.  I'm nosy.  When I see something (written) that I like, I look at the person's profile, but yeah, they are public so what's the harm?

then again, a Dom male could be said as to being a subbie that hasn't faced reality yet...LOL

Since I started the post, our numbers have evened out, and the ones who have viewed us who aren't male submissives are mostly those who have seen my posts over here and decided to find out a bit more about me/us.  That kind of thing I find normal ... it's the random Dom viewings that confuse me LOL
