I'm interested in watching some decent movies with either good BDSM scenes or rape scenes in it. Anyone care to make a recommendation or two?

Secretary is my all time favorite!!! I'd definitely check it out! It's got Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader doing the whole Dominant boss submissive secretary thing. And the soundtrack is amazingly good! Also 9 and 1/2 weeks is okay. I don't like the ending, but there's a great scene with some ice. Haha, last night I watched A Clockwork Orange. I wouldn't say it's very BDSM-Centric, but there was a cool scene with a woman being raped and some interesting make-shift gag-balls. (I want the cat woman's penis statue!)

I don't know about BDSM movies, though am interested like you,
but I was impressed by the rape scene in "What's love got to do with it." M

The Secretary is one of my favorites as well!

i really likw 91/2 weeks tho i wonder if there's anyone left that hasn't seen that one since it's as old as i am! (almost)

i loved Mickey Rourkes character tho, that movie just did it for me, sure it may be considered cheesy by today's standards but i really enjoyed it : )

Rape scenes, there's always The Accuser (was that name i think? with jodie foster) she get's gang raped in a bar with lots of men cheering on...i hate to say this, since it was a true story and it was very tragic for the victim..,but...i remember watching that movie as a very young girl and feeling soooooo guilty about feeling soooooooo turned on!! lol now it all makes sense!

hmmm, if i remember any others i'll post them.

I saw the secretary. There was some funny parts in it. but as far as the shock worth I'd been led to belive it was racier than it was. Hilarious when she kept trying to get punished tho.
