I hope this hasnt been over-done before, but I'm wondering what your favorite music to have playing during a scene or in the background of your dungeon is?
I'm looking for some good ambient music that is quite relaxing but intense at the same time.

But of course the mood must be there too, something hypnotic you know?

My Master and me vary from rap, to Enigma, Delerium, Evanesence, classic rock, you name it, we've probably played it! I have burned several compilation c.d.'s for my Master, and the one He loves the most is the hard rock mix I made. I find soft moody music for the beginning, edgy hard music for the middle and soft soothing music for the end. Try "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent. He'll put that song on repeat, and it's amazing!!!

Master normally uses enigma, evanesense and Eram he wil sometimes put some rock on and nine inch nails which is slaves favourite..
but as the dungeon belongs to Master he is the one who decides...

I have several CD's of monk chants for religious scenes, and a few CDs I cut myself for general scenes. I firmly believe that if you're going to use music in a scene, it should relate to the mood you're trying to set. "Barney Sing-along Songs" might be good in an age play scene, but it would really take the bite out of an interogation scene, y'know? (Might be good for punishment though, now that I think about it!)

Hands down though, the first 5 songs from Alan Parsons Project's "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" are my music of choice for florentine flogging. Since they're all musical renditions of Edgar Alan Poe tales, they're a wonderful mood setter too... Then I like to follow up with APP's "Satan" which is a great 5 minute wind down that allows for lots of technique changes.

we've actually believe it or not played even enya....we have many cds put together for the club....great new song is by will smith called switch ....perfect for a scene

Thanks for the great suggestions! My Master is stuck on the hard rock mix I made. I like more variety for scenes. I want to do a new mix for Him. You all have given me some great ideas! Oh, Velvet Revolver has some great scene music as well.
