Hi all and thanks for reading - i'm currently ferreting about on the net trying to source a supplier of small (no larger than an inch top to bottom) padlocks, ideally heart shaped ones, who can take card payment over the phone and send them asap. We have a custom steel corset leaving in the post tomorrow and these are due to be the closures for the front (short notice - we know, but we've been let down by the person who was supposed to be supplying them!!) so that's the kind of rush we're in. Oooo, i love Monday mornings[&:]!!! Any help or suggestions will be HUGELY appreciated. Thanks again s x

Check local novelty stores that would carry journals or diaries. Also try hardware stores and places that sell lugage locks. In the US, I know of several sites, but doubt they can have them there in time. Thankyou so much for that kind thought - we've decided to go with little hand made heart shaped locks based on old armour catches....(well... once we've finished making them!! necessity is indeed the mother of invention it seems [;)]!! any time you need a hand with anything - just whistle - thanks again x

HUGE thankyou for finding those links for us... i'll tuck them away ready for the next crisis [:D] I think we're sorted for this corset but that said these will be really handy links to be able to call on next time round hope you have a wonderful week s x

This isn't going to be much help. It's more of a rant. Years ago, Romantasy, in San Francisco, carried a real, quality padlock in the shape of a heart. It was called Lovelock™, and was marked Pat. Pend. Available in two sized, approximately 1" and 2" across. Never saw them anywhere else. Called to order more one day, and the owner told me she lost the vendors phone number. Huh?! Have been able to find them since. If someone stumbles one them, let us know. cheers

The thing about the Lovelock™ was the quality. Size was a factor, too. But I'll take any other links you've got, thanks. cheers
