Can resumes be used for good effect in finding a Domme, or it that a bit too geeky in some say

If you are referring to a standard resume, I would not be interested. I can't answer for other Ladies. But those I know would not respond well to this approach.
I state clearly what I wish to see. And that is a proper letter of introduction written to Me. Don't copy and paste your profile. Seriously search the listings and write a personalized letter of introduction to any Lady you feel you might be compatible with. Pay attention to Their profile, and include the information requested. She is much more likely to answer if She feels you are interested in Her, and you are not just sending out many form letters or a standardized "resume" to every Domme who strikes your fancy.

It depends. But I know as least one woman who likes to get them because she is searching for a service sub and wants to know that they are proficient at things that will be useful for her.

The subs who have managed to catch my attention did so by treating me like a person, rather than a sex object, boss or generic opportunity. Rather than handing over a resume, how about you find out about HER as a person. So many subs are so interested in telling us about themselves. Yet they never bother to find out who we are or what makes us tick. Invariably, a male wants to talk about his fetish or how you'll use him. Rather than following that predictable path, how about asking what good books she's read lately, if she enjoys the theater, what her favorite place to vacation might be. The painful reality is that you are one of hundreds. Your resume isn't going to help raise you in the list of potentials unless she requests it.
