Hello All,

I have trying to do many things to position myself as a useful and Dominant servant. Taking some cooking classes, trying to read up on cleaning practices, and generally have a skill set to offer a Domme.

When I though, perhaps a D/S dynamic could exist is simple daily things as well... Keeping a calendar of tasks for my Mistress. When to change her toothbush, or calling her as a "wake" up call service, or simply bringing starbucks (insert preferred) beverage here :)
I don't suppose any of those things are over the top... But I would enjoy doing them to please someone I am serving...

Any thought... ideas are welcome... what simple things might You enjoy as a Domme...

Picking up the laundry on the way home
inventory of groceries, making sure staples are always available
picking up favorite treats
preparing and serving a special dinner
pampering me with massage, mani, pedi
little notes expressing emotion
picking up a book I might like
cleaning toys
learning how to do hair, french braid, etc
minor auto mechanic skills
computer skills including web site maintenance
financial skills - balance check book, research investments
secretarial skills, keep address book, remind about birthday's/anniversaries, etc
fashion knoweldge, finding good clothes, fetish and non at a bargain
coupon clipping
laundry/ironing/delicates
boot/shoe care
toy care
learning how to make toys
pet care
lawn and garden care
handyman skills
needlework/sewing/alterations/repairs

If I am understanding your question properly, Robby, I can give some quick examples that Mine have always done for Me.

In the morning when I wake My cigarettes and diet pepsi (I do not drink coffee) are waiting for Me on My nightstand. My towels are fresh when I am ready to shower. My clothes are laid out and if it is a work day, the items I require are waiting for Me at the desk. I have been served by those who cook meals, which is a huge benefit that you are taking cooking classes in your favor.

Of course, any time Mine have been in My presense, they light cigarettes for Me, open doors for Me, or do any other menial task that I see fit. When I travel, Mine have made the room ready for Me, unpacked My belongings, (one in fact would tell you that this Mistress always over packs, for all contingencies), and have been trained that all of My articles have a place. Right down to such small details as which weapons should be places on the bedside table and the proper placement of candles.

It may not be a popular theory, but if at this time you are, in fact, trying to accustom yourself to serving without anyone to train you, do those things you can for others that you would do when you find your One. Brush up on all forms of your manners. Whenever possible, open a door for a lady you might see, and allow her to enter first. Offer to carry items that you might see a lady struggling with. Perhaps offer to reach for that item on the top shelf at the grocery store. Just Sunday, I was at a convenience store when a gentleman offered to hold My little basket with a gallon of milk in it, as it occurred to him that it might be heavy for Me. Made My day. Might have made his, too, for all I know. There are a lot of little things you can do in everyday life that will condition you to serve a future Mistress.

I think he meant to put an apostrophe after dominant, meaning a servant that belongs to a dominant.

To the OP Iwillwork, I like your ideas, but the most important thing is to get to know your dominant by paying attention to her when you two are speaking, and asking her questions as to how you can be more useful in addition to those things you are already learning. M

Sorry... My grammer was poor.... I was thinking faster then, I was writing... :)

Thank You all for Your responses.... Greatly appreciated. I think the suggestions are Wonderful!

I am not under the false pretense at all that each Domme would be the same, which I why I try to ask as a question for all.

The thing I suppose I was getting at, is that with enough desire to please and for the reverence that I hope to offer all of these little daily menial tasks can become a dream come true for a guy like me... Speaking of which I better go wash my owners "shoe laces" :) Or maybe I could test the temperature of her hot water... Hmm or maybe I could make sure all her CD labes face the same way in the pile... Oh and what about making sure her soap is washed...

The best way to please your dominant is to do two things.

First, ask her.

As others have said, it's very personal. Some people hate what others love.

Things I, personally, want:
my bed/blankets warmed in the winter
clothes to change into waiting for me after work (normally pjs, and like the blankets, warmed in the winter - I get cold very easily)
clothes ready and waiting for me when I get up
cold mt. dew and/or tea in the fridge at all times (preferably in bottles that I can just grab and drink out of if the boy isn't there to fix me a glass)
my dogs brushed daily (two shih tzus require a lot of work)
new books by my favorite authors (Anne McCaffrey and Mercedes Lackey if anyone is interested

LOL)
keeping my car filled with gas, and oil changes as needed
cats and dogs fed and cleaned up after as needed - this includes sweeping up all the german shepherd fuzz around the house
making sure that meals are prepared for me so that I don't have to do it, and done so that nothing I'm allergic to is in the food
keeping food that is easy for me to take to work in the house - preferably packing my lunch for me

all kind of little things that can be done

Semen facial. Make her skin glow and remove those wrinkles. Just don't get any in her eyes or it will sting, and that will cause what we call a "zombie."

Being attentive and observing things she does that you could do for her is definatly a good idea!!
