Ok maybe someone might ahve brougth this up ones but i havnt seen it so i will ask the ?
Why do some add you to there favorites List
and when you look and see who is admiring you on CollarMe
You see someone you have never talked to
and when you send a emial they dont even respond to this
could this be considered someone stalking you ?

It could also be that they've never worked up the courage to contact you.

No, not technically stalking. If you want to know why you should ask them. There are probably as many reasons as there are people that have done it.

Sure. You could consider it stalking you, if you are paranoid.

A bunch of people who have put me on their favorites haven't contacted me. And I haven't contacted everyone on my favorites list. *Shrug shrug* For me there isn't a reason why. I just haven't.

I was just curiouse about this becouse i havnt looked at my admirers in a few months
and i go to look 4 days ago and i see like 20 ppl that i never talked with befor and i email them to say hi and
dont get a reaspons
so i was just curiouse .

Perhaps they did it accidentally, or meant to do something and then forgot.  Look at it this way, at least they thought of you for the moment.  I have no admirerererers.  Oh.  Woe is me.  I now must wangst.  Oh wangst. 

In all seriousness, I wouldn't worry about it.  Just consider it a tiny compliment and keep going.   It could be worse.  Some guy keeps sending me daily notes that only say "Hello sweethart".  I'd rather be ignored.

Ross, I know some will disagree with me, but it's almost impossible to be stalked via the internet.  Yes, it CAN be done, but most people don't have the persistence to do so.  Some people may put you on the favorites list with the intention of contacting you some time in the future and for whatever reason, just don't get around to it.

Honey, you need to get off the PC and get out a bit more.


Before anyone jumps all over me for my statement, yes, I know it can be done and is done; however, with some common sense and the off button, the chances of it happening are relatively slim.  And yes, I know what I am talking about.  Like many others here, I work in IT so if you want to give me a blow by blow of how it can be done or how it was done to you, I've prolly already heard it.

I have put some people on my favorites, to allow me to follow thier posts on subjects more easily, if I find that I connect with the way that they express thier thoughts.

I usually contact the profiles from my "favorites" list, as well as having well written profiles handy...

I've wondered the same question..."why someone list you as a favorite", even though i didn't waste much energy on the answer....

This answer would definitely concern me if a Dominant didn't have enough courage to say hello..

I know for myself, I've marked someone as favorite if I like to read their thoughts in journal entries.  A step for easy retrieval.

I'd like to think that the people who have me on their favorites list that do not contact me think I am sexy as hell, but know they cant have me...(teasing), but in actuality I probably remind them of their mother or sister (grin)

I have the computer at the shop when im grooming dog's
inbetween clients i get online when i can
and when im at home i am online play games with friends i have mad a big friendship numbers of friends with others online
on game websites and souch you might ask why this is well
i started online gammming when i broke my ankle and i was in bed for 2 months and then agen after i broke my knee
and agen after my last surgery last august when i have my Colon removed im not online all day and night long
i do get out and do things and go out with friends alot .

I hadn't thought of that idea, it is a good one. Using it so I can find out what fav people have posted. I also know it is easy to do it by mistake, Know I have blocked lots of people who I ment to just hide so they come up in my searches.

From what I am told, a lot of times I am put on favorites lists because someone likes my pictures.  Its a bookmark for some, not an actual show of interest as much as a desire to look more often.

there is never a big deal only ?s in life and somtimes i have ?s Wondering how come ppl do the things they do and sometimes they dont so excuse me if you dont like my ?

Good point, I guess I was just looking at it from the perspective of a sub adding a Dominant to his or her favorites list.

i've never even used the favorites function before, to be honest...never really thought about it before reading this. i only JUST found the admirers button...and only a few on my admirers list have actually cmailed me.
