never heard of frango mint but ill take godiva all day long i go ones a week for my chocolate covered strawberies

Godiva is -nothing- compared to Frango Mints. And having just checked out Macy's website, they have them in dark chocolate mint! So one can have a glow of self-righteousness, eating chocolate whilst proclaiming they're adhering to a healthy lifestyle. Hmmm... I wonder if they take paypal....

Hijacked? No. Tangented? Sadly yes. Terribly sorry about that. As for why, you can always look at it as some people are just inconstant. Or they get distracted, then forget to go back later.

I'm always happy to explain. Basically, we went off on a conversational angle for a bit. Technically, tangented isn't a word, but it worked for me.

This is from Wiktionary-

I suspect I'm on a few favorites list because of my postings here.

On occasion I've sent a 'Hello' email, but not always. I don't send out much email except for replies.

There is always that hidden user one you can put them under.

I had one guy get all wacked out because I had marked him as a favorite with the intention of contacting him eventually. He got all weirded out saying it could be a stalker thing. Goofy response in my opinion.

I agree that it seems most people use their favorites list to keep track of postings or of people they find interesting. Some never contact me, I had to ask once or twice to figure out they were just interested in what I had to say at the time. Especially when a submissive put me on her favorites list when in her profile it said no men clearly plain and simple. Being a male I just had to ask. It was for one of the above reasons. I'm ok with that.

When I first joined I used my favorites list, to keep track of promising sub/slaves. Now I hardly ever use it to be honest. Never cleared it out either.

I have developed an admirers list myself, but never hear from them. Although it is odd I never thought much of it. I emailed all of them once, never got a response and figured they were just keeping track of some detail or perhaps postings that I was making or something.

I have a few "admirers", the list (new users, favorite users, blocked users, hidden users, admirers) is located on the -bottom- left side bar after you log in to CM and I have a few "favorite users". Mostly I add someone to my list of favorite users if we have communicated and we're friends OR if I have read a profile or seen a pic that interests me and I wish to read/look at it later.

I don't initiate contact, lol.

Although there was this one time....
I saw I had a new admirer so I went to check out his profile and I had a question to ask him re: an acronym so I was quite surprised to find I was blocked!

My curiosity got the better of me so I just checked my favourites list - I don't have one, if I wasn't so apathetic I guess I could worry about that

Sometimes people add someone to their favourites list because they like their profile and want to be able to check back on it later, sometimes they like their posts and want to be able to see them quickly, sometimes they like something about the person and plan to contact them and forget. sometimes they may want to show the other person that they like them and wait in hope that the other person will initiate contact (I prefer the direct approach myself), and sometimes you are just never going to find out, it just is .....

I have one admirer. She put me on her favourites list because she perceived me to be wise - and in that she is correct.

I used to have two girls on my favourites list, but removed them several months ago, because they had not been active in a long while. One because her pose - like Rodin's Thinker - intrigued me. The other as a form of moral support - she seemed insecure - a side benefit was that she was very attractive.

I add people to my list, usually when they first join, because it interests me and I might like to contact them. I rarely do right away to let them get through the avalanche of emails that seems to happen to new members. (There have been a good number of girls that are only here a couple days and they leave because of this).

I will only email one person I am interested in at a time, usually two or three times over a week or so, depending on how fast they read my emails. When I never get a reply, which is almost always, after given them some time, I will move on to another. The ones that don't frequent CM will get shuffled down on the list and likely get passed over the next time I look to email someone.

I also tend to email in cycles. I will spend a couple months email, then when nothing ever happens I get a bit frustrated and not email for a while but still add anyone that seems interesting to my list, thus pushing some further down my list.
