i have a true fetish, by that i mean, i sexual response to something not considered to be sexual.
Im into chain. Way way way before i was even sexual, chain attracted me, the shinier the better.
Im synastheasic. ie. i have weirded brain processes of senses, i feel colour, smell sounds etc etc
due to my visual impairment, my brain is wired, er unusually. On a rating scale of this particular phenomenon, im rated a severe.
Thus, when something very shiny in the way of a chain gets seen heard or god forbid touched! then i have a physical sensation of tingling. As ive developed my sexuality, this has morphed from tingling to sexual response.
on a more common fetish arena, im into feet. Womens feet. They are so beautiful, so erotic, or they can be. Much the same as some people are breast people, some arse, some legs, im into feet. However, im fussy. I guess saggy tits, dont do much for the breast fans, well, poorly presented feet dont do much for me, but lovingly cared for, painted toes, a nicely arched foot and im there with whistles and bells on!
From this form of fetish, its a simple case of 'because i am'.
If your lucky enough to truly own your sexuality, and free enough to develop it, then you feed your fetish needs, and then it develops. Running along a continuum from a want, to a need. So that without your fetish, your libido wont come to the party. Much the same as vanilla sex, is a bit er dull? these days. Finding a partner with a similar ideal that sexuality is a feast of sensual/emotional and spiritual play ground is the trick.
Seriously, stop sitting on the fence studying others happiness, and explore invivo for yourself.
