I am guessing that most of being Domme is in the attitude, but it still sounds daunting, being a top over someone who towers over me by more than a foot. Any suggestions? Shall I buy some KISS boots? :) piratefish

I don't see the problem with height when he's kneeling or laying on the ground kissing your toes? That's kinda like a guy asking about the size of his penis...who cares when they make such fabulous dildos? He's there to serve, use his height to your advantage and make him do things that are more difficult for you due to height. Make him walk you around on a pallet like a queen...lots of fun things here. You're right, it is all about attitude. If you are dominant, naked, alone, with no toys, then you are dominant anywhere. However, clothes and toys can help set the mood and attitude, so if they make you feel yummier, then by all means, enjoy!

I'm 5'6". My tallest sub was 6'5". I had no problems Domming him, other than needing a stepladder for strap on play. (Seriously, it was like a beagle trying to mount a great dane...) Other than that, you can reach his hair.. you can pull him down to where he belongs. smiles It is all in the attitude. Napoleon was a short lil shit, and look what he did. smiles

I'm 5'2" tall and my submissive is 6'5"... the only problems I've come across has been suspending in the archway of our room.... I have to get a step stool...lmao Ok, maybe the kneeling thing is a problem sometimes too, if I am sitting down and he kneels he is still taller then I am... so I make him sit on his butt. But to me the fact that he is so tall is a perk... I don't see it as making me feel any less of a Domina, in fact just the opposite... the idea that such a big man willingly kneels to me is a glorious feeling. Jewel

To be honest, height is not a huge issue for me. I'm 5'5" and my main boy is 5'9", so anything over 4" heels and I am taller then him. But most of the boys I've dommed have been over 6' tall. I feel the same way ShiftedJewel does when she describes her glorious feeling. - LA

lol, thanks E/everyone. It is not someting I have tested yet, but with me at 4'10" and him WELL over 6', it seems like a bit of a challenge.

The first order of business is to have him in this case design and build the equipment that will make your play easier for you to accomplish, the things that make it physicly easier for you to reach where you want on him. Stilettos are a good start but not necessary. I'm sure other ideas may include trampling and having the sub crawl and grovel at your feet. You can walk your sub on a leash as he crawls along behind you. Use him as your footstool, chair or table. Overall, the concept of a petite Domme dominating her sub is a very powerful one and quite sexy. Play with that idea! I am 5ft 1 and 105 lbs. My pet is built like a body builder and very strong. It turns me on to no end that I can have him swooning at my feet and begging me to torture him whenever I want.

I get a huge kick out of dominanting tall men. At 5'4" Im quite short by comparison to most males. So of course always start in High heels. If you cant reach them get them to kneel or lie down. I also have 2 chairs in my dungeon, one for me and one for the submissive (at the dressing table). I made sure that the chair that the submissive sits on had 4" taken from the legs so that when sitting they would be lower than me. My slave would never sit in a position where he was higher than me and will often automatically sit on the floor even in a non scene or vanilla enviroment

Its only a challenge if you don't feel and carry yourself as a Domme, if that's intact you could lead an army of giants-- and I agree with My Sisters, kneeling does wonders---

And just for the record, Beach, (if I may call you that?), I've found it easier to grab their hair, bend them over a bed or something, and then the mounting problem is solved....

Personally as a young male submissive one thing that turns me on most about serving is serving a more petite Dominant figure. Granted almost all female dominants are shorter than me becuase i am six fout. But still somone a foot shorter than me ordering me around turns me on like none other.

Gotta say, I agree with 99% of what's been said here. My Sub is only about an inch taller than me, which isn't quite the gap that some of you have described, but like a lot of others, I make sure her head is always bowed or she sits either in a lower seat or (more often than not) on the floor at my feet. I've never really been one for heels etc., so when we go out I simply have her slouch a little and bow her head so that even if it's just a few inches, she's still always "below" me (if that makes sense). i am 6'2" and 220 lbs, my Owner is 5'2" and considerably less weight and Her dog quirt does not care about who is taller or heavier- She still raises me to my toes at will.

The only problems I've found as a short domme is with kit, everything from floggers, tawse to cross and whipping bench are just the wrong height for me to use comfortably...solution, make my own or have them made to my specs, it's a real gap in the market for someone with the time and patience to fill

I don't mind if a young man is shorter than I am. However that's a bit hard to do when you're only five foot two. But I must admit that having someone taller and physically stronger whimpering and begging for all that I can dish out and then some is quite a heady rush.

I am another at 5'2", and on the petite side. For some reason taller boys are attracted to Me, and seem to have just as much a heady experience as I in being the big strong boy who is turned into mush by the tiny Domina. My sweet daughter (who has no idea, BTW) always laughs and asks Me if I have a penchant for being part of a couple that looks like "Mutt & Jeff".
