Others

Others are envious of what we share,
they cannot understand
how precious and special we are to each other.

Others may try to hurt us with their words
or actions, but we are stronger than they are
and we go on.

Others may try to tear us apart,
but they cannot sever the bond
of Trust that exists
between us.

Loving partners in this life,
growing and sharing together
our knowledge, our desires and our
fantasies.

You know i just leanred this lesson the hard way at the cost of someone i thought was a friend. Thank you for saying it so well.

Like Roe, I have learned this lesson. I do not share this part of my life with ANYone, never mention it to ANY of my friends. However, my Husband/Master has. Not to very many to be sure, but to a select few whom He considers to be good friends. One in particular has been somewhat critical of this. She feels that my being His sub is somehow demeaning to all women. Whereas I myself don't even find it demeaning to THIS woman [:)] She doesn't understand at all, obviously. She most certainly doesn't understand the part about TRUST. It would be impossible to explain to someone else how deep the trust must go in order to have this kind of relationship. And it is trust on both our parts.
You, Bella, have indeed expressed it so well.

Thank you, ladies! I have not shared my submissive life with very many people outside of my "sisters". However, there is one friend, a very dear friend who knows everything about my life. She did not understand, and though she still accepts the choices I have made, they still do not reflect her beliefs. She doesn't truly understand how special the relationship is between Master and me, but I hope in time she will grow to understand how important it is. Master and me discussed this last night, and how she told me that she felt I should walk away from him, but I told Him, I could never, ever walk away from something so wonderful!! My reward was his sweet and gentle smile!
