my 1st car was a 72 chevy nova that was really old but only had 9k miles on it... someone in my moms church got it and had a heart attack and it was in their garage for many years... so i got it for 1500... drove the hell out of it... i have an  mustang5.0 that i am in love with... great car... if i had real money i would get a mazeroti

my first (and last car) was black. lol It lasted a total of 20 minutes.  What kind? umm dunno, I think it was a Hondainabigpileofbrokenglass, ya thats it. It must have been foreign.

I drive a 2006 Nissan Altima - It's a really nice car, great on gas!
My First car was an early seventies Ford Mustang II beater that I got for $500 bucks in '85

My first car was a 71 Chevelle 454, 4 on the floor.
Have three cars now;
My favorite is my 71 Chevelle 454, 4 on the floor(not the same one sadly)
Also have a 79 GMC Caballero (GMC's version of an El Camino) and a 2006 PT Cruiser

my first car was a 1987 grand prix with a V8 that personified the term gas guzzler, and interior so bad it could have been used as target practice on a military field range. I currently drive a 95' dodge intrepid.

I currently drive a PT Cruiser.

My first car was a big ole boat - a late 70's model Chevy Caprice.  I hated that thing and it guzzled gas but it's what my Dad bought for me to use, so it was better than nothing[:)].

My favorite car that I ever owned was a souped up Firebird.  Man, was that thing fast!.........luci

My first car was an 84 Honda Accord, man could she fly, great on gas, I miss that car.
I now drive an 94 Buick Le Sabre, with anti-lock brakes, air bags and all that jazz, heh.
My previous car was a 98 Nissan Altima, I think what was my best car yet, til it got killed in an accident that I would have been killed in also if not for airbags and my seatbelt.

My ex-husband's sister had a black Ranchero.  I think that was Ford's version of an El Camino.  Not my style but cute and she kept it in primo shape.  As for the PT Cruiser, I really like mine.  Don't know what you think but I think it's good on gas and lots of hauling room in the back.  Plus, since mine's black, it kinda makes me feel like I'm Al Capone's gun moll[;)]..........luci

My first car was a 78' Pontiac Bonneville. Great big car, itty bitty driver!
Ever since that car, I have moved on to owning only Chevy and GMC trucks.

My first smoker... er, car was a 1971 Chevy Vega, complete with warped aluminum head. Gee, that was fun [cough, cough]

Current ride is an '02 PT Cruiser basic with standard transmission. Didn't want the auto as I heard that cars with 'em were dogs getting up to highway speed. Whether or not it's good for the tranny, I can smoke the tires in first for a good way down the road with the stick.

5 cars later i drive a 2000 mercury cougar........and am seriously looking at a eclipse!

my first car was an 84 plymoth reliant. thank god that is done and over with now i can choose between the red89 transam the blue 88 transam or the favorite emerald green 91 transam gta. Love it and yes smokey and the bandit was the movie that corrupted me into my transam fetish![:D]

I drive a 4WD Ford Ranger, and I do miss the Hemi I used to have.

First car was a $450 63 Mercury Comet wagon, which lost a battle with an old lady driving a Cadillac.   She bent the flippin' frame, pushed it onto the sidewalk, and was able to drive away after reporting.

I know we did this thread a while ago.  When you say "first" car...

- The first I remember riding in:    My parent's 1959 Bonneville Convertible, black with white and red accents, black leather interior...what a car!

- The first one I ever drove:   My Dad's 1964 Rambler American...which I got to drive when I turned 15 (about 7 years after the car rolled off the assembly line in ((EXTRA POINTS IF YOU CAN IDENTIFY WHERE THAT HUNK WAS MADE))
     
          Laugh all you want, heathens, but when you are 15 and don't even have your license, if it has wheels and moves, its good.  And then add that the American had split front seats that folded back completely into a double bed!  [:D]

-  The first one I ever owned:   1964 Nova Convertible.  Bought from my dad (who bought it from a customer at his store) for $200.  Stock.  Average quality.  But the top went down, and radio worked...what more could a boy want?

-  What I drive now?   The daily driver is a 2003 Prius, with 42,000 on it, all but 12,000 put on by me.  A great fun to drive car, and amazing on the 200 mile round trips I've been taking to see my mom.  The "project car" in the garage -- not sure yet.  I'm shopping.
