I have travelled in the Canadian Rockies, the central and sourthern part of the US, Niagara Falls and I spent three months in Northern Italy and Southern Switzerland.

My favorite place on this earth is by my Lord's side.

Travelled to Mexico, eastern Canada, most of the USA (except alaska, hawaii, and all state ne of new york), western europe, eastern Med., various islands in the caribbean.

Favorite place is my hometown of Sacramento California...there's no place like home. Then Lakeside, Ohio...for the summers. Followed by Dover, Ohio...the edge of Amish country with the simplicity of a small town. Rome when it comes to foreign countries. Then London.

I"ve travelled to a lot of places that would probably be boring to just list here, so I won't.  My most recent trip to Cozumel, though, had the best snorkeling I've ever done, although the reef there took a lot of damage from Hurricane Wilma.  They said it used to be even better, which is hard to believe, but I will.

This is silly, but the highlight of that trip, which left from Mobile, AL, was visiting the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, which was featured on Animal Planet as "The Little Zoo That Could".  It was an amazing little place, so well rebuilt and taken care of, and the animals there were so friendly!  You could tell they were as well loved and taken care of as they portrayed in the tv show.  It has become one of my favorite places and I can't wait to go back again.

Italy was incredible just for the food, art and architecture.  I could spend months there.  My favorite place, though, is NC Outer Banks.  Two relaxing oceanfront weeks there and I'm a happy camper.

I've been lucky enough to get 'round a bit. Favourite places in reverse order:

10) Scottish Lochs - peaceful, amazing scenery.
9) Berlin - quirky and drowning in history.
8) UAE - flavour of various cultures, quality of life, desert/city life contrast, high quality food, women are out of this world.
7) Poland - breathtaking scenery, historic medieval towns/cities.
6) Crete - hospitality, culture, history, warm climate.
5) Ireland - hospitality, scenery.
4) Prague - history, architecture, hospitality, music scene, pub culture.
3) Japan - seems to do everything very well......history, culture, scenery, beaches, hospitality.
2) England - music scene, pub culture, history, culture, scenery, coast line, mild climate, secular, largely tolerant.
1) Durham, England.

My favorite place that I have traveled is a toss up between southern california (the valley) and iron mountain, michigan (U.P.)- they both were beautiful places to be...whether I was in Santa Monica enjoying the cool breeze off the water or downtown L.A. doing some shopping...Iron Mountain was nice because I got to enjoy the "quiet"..alot of beautiful scenery...

I've been here and there.  Although my favorite place is the state of mind I get in after climbing to the top of a mountain to stand under a waterfall on a hot summer day.

Could be anywhere where it is hot enough, exhilirating enough.  Just beautiful.

I've been to a lot of places, and I once spent 10 years traveling for work.

The more exotic places, Brazil in June (their winter).  Saudi Arabia in July or August (their summer).

My favorite place, in that there is no end of trouble I can get myself into, is L.A.  I've been known to go for no other purpose than to shop.

At least once or twice I've flown out Friday night early enough that some places were still open, then Saturday during the day to get my fill and get back to make a Saturday night red-eye.

I've been to :-
Spain, Menorca, Majorca, Malta, Portugal, France, Germany, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of wight, Gibraltar.

My fave place of all is a little village called Alozaina in the sierra de la nieves. Its a very quite completely Spanish village where my mum and dad live. Virtually no tourists and completely the spanish way of life. Its blissful. Also the Spanish lake district is fantastic.

I have been to almost all the states in the US, with the exception of California and Hawaii; I have been to Japan, Australia, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Italy, Germany, Brazil, and Mexico; just to name a few.

My favorite place was Ireland; it was truly beautiful there, and the people were extremely nice.

St. Lucia has been my favorite place outside the U.S.  As far as a beautiful area i love and enjoy within the U.S., i would have to say the region of Western North Carolina.  Asheville and surrounding areas just hold a dear place in my heart.  There's beautiful scenery, lot's of culture, and it just feels like home.  If i were ever to relocate again, that's where i'd want to be........slave luci

from my childhood on, i wanted to visit China, but gave up on that possibility due to the politics...in the year 2000,i was fortunate enough to spend 10 days, including my birthday, there & it far exceeded my expectaions...it was the most expensive & best birthday gift i have ever given to me...

i've been on a couple of Caribbean cruises & snorkeled off Cozumel both trips...wonderful reef there...

because i have driven a semi long-haul for the last 5 years--except when i have broken bones--i have been to every state in the lower 48, except for Vermont...i have also visited Hawai'i twice...my next cruise that i would like to take would be to Alaska...i love all of this country & can't pick a favorite place in the world...everywhere i have been has impressed me in some way & enriched my life......

Last Summer, I visited NYC, New York, London, Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome. I loved all of the cities, but if I had only one I could re-visit, it would probably be Florence, Italy, due to the tremendous amount of Rennaiassance sculpture available for viewing. Plus, it wasn't ultra-expensive, it was very beautiful, and the natives went out of their way to be friendly, IMO. So did most in the other places I visited, and all had their own unique charms. But I am a big Rennaissance art fan, and I was in true heaven there.

I'd still reallly love to see: Russia, Scandinavia, China and Japan.
I've been to the Carribean 3 times, and also Mexico, so while I think places like Hawaii and Tahiti would indeed be charming, I think I've probably seem places that are very similar.

Niagra Falls is farthest north I have ever been. I am doing a cycle camping trip there in June. Disney in Fla. is the furthest South. I head to the Blue Ridge Mountains almost every year. My favorite place is the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge Tenn. and Cherokee NC. are where I like to get too and relax.
