I've seen a few folks complain here that they run into men pretending to be women on this site. I probably have also, but not in real time (thankfully). Any one have any estimates and/or anecdotal evidence as to HOW MANY men are pretending to be women on this site? fergus

ok. I do confess to something tho. I have before now gone onto a different site while setting up a profile for a person and kick started the process by pretending to be them. I have always kept the posts I have sent in their name and it has always been with their knowledge (often their pleads). Therefore I have pretended to be a man before.

goodlittle girl, I reckon some just want attention. Mistress Feathers, I think that is a little different, THEY were more or less the person, you were just administering the nuts and bolts of it. Did they eventually take over their profile? fergus

I wouldn't dare to venture a guess at how many, but I know from browsing male profiles that quite a few of them add journal entries that say something to the effect of "please be female, no men pretending to be females", etc. Also, I used to hang out in Literotica chat a lot. When someone suspicious would come in to a chat room, I'd actually confront them, and blew quite a few covers. Got called a few names, but oh well, just taking some for the team, lol. I found that they usually use crude names and locker room humor type names, such as "cumonmytits" and "lickmyclitty". Apparently it attracts other men....and talk about a lot of poofers in there. They get off and then poof, gone.

Just to go a bit further on this a bit, I have also found far too many thrill seekers and fakes here. This is heart breaking to find that the so call subs/slaves and so call masters/doms are here just to feed a fantasy and no real intentions of meeting.These fakers do not realize that this is our true lifestyle and not an outlet for alternative sex or head games. I have also found that there are many here just come here to make them feel better about their fantasies in a forum where they can be brave; something they could never do in person. To those of you here that are real and do have intensions of actually meeting someone in this great lifestyle I say my hat's off to you. Those who are not brave enough to actually meet in real time, please stop wasting everyone's time here and stop playing with our lifestyle. Master Charles

Sorry fergus, I do not have much experience in having people mis-represent their gender to me. Since my profile openly welcomes CD/TG/TS slaves, many send messages, but they are honest about being born male and whether or not they are in the process of gender re-assignment.

Statistically - it is unlikely one is going to meet ms/mr right online. if both have a good job- then no one wants to relocate- and if one has no job and is quick to move in- runnnnnnnnn.

I met my hubby on line. We both had good jobs. He moved from Scotland to be with me. Granted this process did take a while.

i'm sorry, but i'm not sure i agree with the generalization that "everyone on the internet is male until proven otherwise. i guess i've been lucky, and have never had anyone misrepresent their gender to me. i have been one of the unfortunates who has been "ordered" to put on their cam...or mic...to "prove" that i am female....i always refuse...but that's me.

I have also been asked to put my web cam on to prove who I am lol. I always refuse. Altho I did offer to someone today who responded almost with 'why the hell would you want to do that?????' So I am now slightly confused. Does he think I am a man doing a good fantasy play on him and he doesnt want me to switch the cam on to discover I am a 23stone hairy biker called Steve. Or from talking to me has he in fact ascertained that I am 100% a bird?
