A=B/2+1 and 8=A+B/2 Two equations two unknowns simple algebra find A and B. Orrrr maybe do something more fun.

A=B/2+1
8=A+B/2

8=(B/2+1)+B/2
8=B+1
B=7
A=7/2+1
A=4.5

chk. A=8-B/2
A=8-3.5
=4.5

Strictly speaking I suppose it could have been interpreted another way. All I cared about was the process though.

Another failed game to add to my list of failed games.
