Does anyone know where I can find laws for South Carolina regarding BDSM? I've looked and can't find a thing. :( I know that North Carolina seems to allow it 'cause I'm trying to go to the convention (The Purgatory Show) in April and it's publicized so I don't think there are too many legal issues there but am not sure about South Carolina.

Thanks and I hope that this was the right section to post in. It's kind of a general question about BDSM ... sorta, lol.

Freedom of assembly is in the Constitution.

What we do at play parties is technically illegal just about everywhere.

Actually, in NC it's illegal to have alcohol and even simulated SM activities together in a public establishment. Puragtory gets away with it because the cops have wisely decided there are better uses of their time and money than by busting kinky goths.
