I'm not happy with that.  I feed my kittens Nutro Choice pouched kitten food.  So far they don't seem to be ill, but I'll be keeping a close eye on them .   I lost one of my cats last fall.  He was poisoned by Hartz flea drops.  He went from perfectly healthy to dead in less than 2 weeks.  That is still pretty hard for me, since he was my baby.  I'm not sure I could handle losing more at this point.

if you gave some to your pet go down to the local health food store and feed them a 1/2 cup of activated charcoal and they will probly be ok

With how this stuff attacks organs, I dont think the charcoal will have any effect.  The news article I read, recommended taking the animal to the vet.  If memory serves, the stuff in the food attacks the animals kidneys, I wouldnt recommend trying to treat them at home, if they ate some and are sick, take them to the vet.  Tell them what they ate, and they know what best to use to treat them.  Better safe than sorry.

Just glad my dogs eat dry food, as well as begging for food from the table

Right, rush over to the vet, because you have no time to waste if organ failure is happening.  [&:]
