Historical ones or any ones really.  I'm interested in this theme the most.

Stella I thought the beauty series was to lame to really enjoy, But certain aspects were good yes. I particularly like the stolen and sold into pleasure slavery idea.

The Marketplace, and the following books in the series have several references to pleasure slaves, including one particularly good passage that explains what makes a pleasure slave different from someone who just likes sex.  I'll try and dig it up this evening.

Dear FelinePersuasion, Ladies and Gentlemen;

In my mind's eyes I see, fiction books are just that.  In my mind's eyes I see your life should be a 'living book' where the pleasure is not for a reader's enjoyment but, the pleasure and enjoyment you read into your unique relationship.

Each person's pleasure triggers are so different and, those who have trained in the art of 'pleasure' is really doing things that give pleasure to the one who is getting the pleasure directly from you.

My personal pleasures have been some of the most simple.  Bathing, hair care, pedicures and manicures, meals, teas, cuddling and petting.
The slaves who see to my pleasure is not just focused on 'sex' and or 'sensuality.'  It seems in my mind's eyes books don't sell unless sex is the main theme, the main drive -- missing is the peace, security, the spiritual rapture with slaves in my service.

The real 'pleasure' book is what you can write down in your real life.
Your picture is the best 'cover' for that book.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

I've not read the Gor books, but isn't pleasure slaves one of the class of slaves in them?

almost any of the gor books has one or more pleasure slaves. (I won't grant all of them because I have not read all of them but I would bet on it)

One of my favorites is "The Lusftul Turk", a victorian era romance (written during the victorian era) that enumerates the various trials and tribulations of a couple of nice english country girls dragged away to the harems of Ali Pasha. Absulutely lurid. Not sure if it's in print any more. My copy was put out in the 60s, and I got it from a garage sale.

An excellent topic!  i absolutely love to read, and depending on what type of books you prefer, i have several recommendations.  i won't mention any of the ones that have already been named, however i did enjoy Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty series.

If you like more of a this-could-actually-happen-in-today's-modern-world kind of story, then I highly recommend Carrie's Story and Safeword by Molly Weatherfield.  It's about a very modern girl who meets a male Dominant at a film festival where a B-rated sadomasochistic porn scene was shown.  He notices how much attention she is paying to the screen and gives her an invitation to meet him and possibly become his slave.  Of course she accepts and shows up the next day at his apartment.  One of the reasons I like this one so much is that it talks about many different BDSM activities (and an EXCELLENT part about pony play for those of You who are interested), and gives it all from the perspective of a very cynical and witty female submissive.

my second recommendation is for those of You who like a more fantasy feel to their literation.  Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen, Kushiel's Avatar, and the most recent Kushiel's Scion by Jacqueline Carey are at the top of my all-time favorite books.  A brief intro to the series:  Phedre was sold at a young age to Cereus House of the Court of Night Blooming Flowers (a pleasure house, basically) where she learned the arts of the bedroom.  When it became time for her to foster, she was taken into Delaunay's household where she was trained to become a spy.  As it turns out, Phedre is an anguissette (extremely masochistic down to her very nature), the only one in the realm in centuries.  Her Lord Delaunay is playing a game of politics and uses her to gather information.  Unfortunately, Phedre stumbles upon a plot to overthrow the King, and from there things really get interesting.  i won't go into details, as i don't want to spoil the book for you, but anyone who likes epic fantasy with an erotic twist will definitely love this series.

The third series i'd like to recommend is for those of you who are more into science fiction.  Susan Wright's Slave Trade, Slave Masters, and Slaves Unchained are about an Earth girl named Rose who is captured and sold into space to alien slave traders.  This series doesn't have as much BDSM or erotica as the other two i recommended, but it's still a good read.  Throughout the series, Rose is made to submit while she longs for freedom and eventually leads a revolt that frees her from her slave masters and gains her the command of her own ship.
