Yes. We can't forget that this is not some business, at least not for me. The relationship between a Master and his slave is one of love. That's why they want to live together.

Not all M/s or D/s couples choose to live together...  Just depends on the personalities and needs of the individuals involved.

yes. I know.
I don't want to be disrespectful to anybody but for me a real M/s relationship is 24/7 and for that they need to live together or at least that's what I think.

<fast reply>  I am laughing at some of this.  I think Merc is absolutley right! I am not sure you could ever find such a panel!
For Myself, and this has already been brought up, I could not give up My authority enough to allow someone else to pick for Me. Now I might consider a situation wherein there are several Dominants and several submissives, and we all live together( like a tribe?  *Wink*).    Casting could be considered on the basis of the D/s, M/s and/or BDSM philosophies of all, so that there could be an assumption that there was sufficient commonalities between one or more of the "cast".   Now, as we express our Dominant and submissive selves, we can see what matches might emerge!  You could even release info regarding these philosophies so the audiencecould guess who might match up with whom and then see how it doesn't all work out that way!   Ah, that oh so human factor!  *Smile*  I also think that 90 days is about all I could stand!  I vote for a lovely villa in Hawaii as the location!
In answer to the other question, no,  I do not have to be in love to dominate.  I prefer  to have a reasonably comfortable (read mutual trust) relationship with the submissive/slave, but I do not have to be in love.  I just need to know his/her heart with regard to the M/s relationship we seek.   And that, in and of itself, takes time.

PRICELESS! [:D]....Do you know who you would like to be in a tribe with?

Also on the love aspect..someone quoted Tina Turner the other day in a thread....what's love got to do with it?....but in the end, ya never know...could have all to do with it.

Thank you for sharing, GoddessDustyGold

The romantic in us sometimes says we would die for that person, but in past years did you ever think you would give up BDSM for a person as you would now?

No, I'd have never thought I'd feel that way about someone again. I lost my fiancee whom I loved very much (and who was the first man I crossdressed ) at 17 and turned into a huge commitmentphobe. It is a pleasant surprise to have found someone who is more important than sex or BDSM to me!

ExSteelAgain -> RE: Reality Show (3/21/2007 3:44:43 PM)

I would never be so shallow as to enter such a thing where my partner could be picked by tests. What do the subs look like? Ha.

Allow me to publicly say...I am so very happy for you.

I'm a prodigal child of the boards, just returning after a long period away from the forums....and you are one of the ones I remember and admired.

Sincerely, all of the best to You and Yours.

Curiouslyseeking why you consider such a match up from likes and life compatibility would be shallow?  ~interesting~

Ah, that was sort of an attempt at humor. Still...I'm humanist enough to put an importance on my ability to find someone on my own without direction. What you are talking about makes me feel like couples will be permanently matched one day by some kind of giant e-harmony committee without meeting beforehand. A lot of things can happen to "perfectly matched" people.

On the other hand, things can happen to those who don't match that bonds them seriously and maybe even happily. Don't you think opposites can often do well together? Some might even say Doms and subs meet that description.

thetammyjo -> RE: Reality Show (3/22/2007 10:16:36 AM)

The idea of a reality show reminds me of the first erotica I had published called "A Day in the Life of the Landfords".
