Oh, how I very much hate bad drivers. How do they still exist? Does Darwinism give them a special pass? Of course, you can also argue that it's entirely my fault, as I still live in Houston.

And as a random pet peeve, the various adjustments of words like 'him' and 'her' and 'girl', and so on always bothered me, which, I attribute to the fact that both my parents were editors.

No, it just takes awhile to catch up with them.

Yes, you should move to Boston. People are much better drivers there.

This must be a constant annoyance here in the alternate sexuality community!

I also hate the terms "subsister", "sis", etc....particularly when used by people I've never even met. I consider v my chainsister and call her such, as I find it moderately more tolerable than other variations. If I could think of a more appropriate term for what she is to me, I'd call her that instead. Until that happens, chainsister will have to suffice.

best regards,

*Edited to add my biggest pet peeves: One true wayisms, and people who feel the need to state things as fact with regard to things they don't "get" and have no experience with.

I do the same. It doesn't bother me either. But everytime I see someone speaking like that. I immediately dismiss everything they have to say from then on out. It only tell's me how clueless they actually are.
Just because I am a sub or a dom does not mean I'm a mold like everyone else in the world.

The only time it's really bothered me was when someone called Holly my "Sis" ... and considering her sister has tried to have sexual relations with both of us, it was just too weird and I told the guy to never do it again.

Drivers who refuse to signal (Virtually every driver in the Greater Phoenix area.)

And almost 1/2 the population of Davis. Jesu Christo I hate this. Especially when I'm on a bike.

I'll see them there peeves and raise you one! The other day I was driving behind someone who c a m e t o a c a r e f u l, c o m p l e t e s t o p at a GREEN LIGHT. And in subsequent days I've seen two different vehicles braking firmly, with no one at all in front of them, AT GREEN LIGHTS.

But then, I live in Seattle, and I, thus, understand that everyone is in process, we really shouldn't criticize someone until we have the full facts, that cell phone call that was soooo occupying them may have been really IMPORTANT, and until I've walked a mile in their shoes I should definitely not purchase an assault weapon and TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM.

SweetDommes -> RE: Pet peeve (4/18/2005 9:33:59 PM)

Oddly enough, that happened to me when I was visiting our former boy in Seattle ... just pissed you off all to hell, doesn't it? I mean, it's a freaking green light, and it's not like it just changed to green and there is a truck coming that isn't going to stop (I've stopped at a green light like that before ... pissed everyone behind me off too until they saw the truck fly through the intersection).

Aw, now I feel all bad that I wasn't big-hearted and understanding. I thought this was a discussion where we got to unload our PEEVES. Peeves don't have to be rational!

Not having things put back in their places (everything has a place!)

Being late! (to any function)

Assuming

Having my food separated on a plate...nothing! can touch each other <cringez>

Omgosh, the list could go on...i need more coffee *chucklez*

Happy Tuesday y'all!!!
