Status: offline 		Alright ladies and those who dress like ladies!  It is the Collar Me 
purse, handbag and back-pack poll.
 
Check the ones that you have and list how many, that is, if you can still count them!

I'll have to start off with the caveat that all of my purses are made from leather (since leather was one of the style options listed).

Smaller purse - 4
Medium size purse - 8 (my medium size purses vary in style, color, and strap style tho)
Larger purse -  1
Huge hobo-style bag - 1
Briefcase - 1
Computer bag - 1
Back-pack - 1 for schlepping to the beach

Status: offline 		This gets worse V! First you out me on the shoes, and now on bags!?

Actually, I'm not that big on bags - I tend to get one I like and then use it to destruction; always black, 'cause that works with anything, anywhere.

What I have right now;

Clutch; one (and not a clue where it is)
Smaller with strap; two - one in use and one in reserve for when number one gives up the ghost
Larger with strap; one, but the strap broke, and I cant bring myself to throw it!
Computer bag; one, but its for a laptop, so not sure it counts?

What I dont understand, is why bag manufacturers dont make practical bags? The best bag I ever had, had loads of pockets inside and outside, so you could actually find stuff inside! Most I come across though are just bags - you put stuff inside and it disappears, never to be seen again unless you tip the whole thing out. What is with that?

Mind you it could just be me, and the six tonnes of stuff I carry about with me.

computer bag with shoulder strap if i'm carrying my laptop

briefcase if i'm going to attorneys' and/or doctor appointments

i have small purses for when i go out on dates but don't actually carry a purse every day

Status: offline 		For everyday, I haul around a not-too-big leather packpack.  When I go out, I like small shoulder/clutch bag, and those are usually leather as well.   M

6 large purses with strap/leather varying colors (mainly black though)
2 fun purses.furry one and pink leather
1 very large black leather brief
1 large mesh
1 cloth hobo type
now after listing these I am thinking I need to weed out a bit..and then go shopping for new!!!!!..~wink~....Tempting

Smaller bag- too many to count. I usually use a smaller bag when i go out
Larger bag- 4
Huge hobo-type bag-2
I don't carry a briefcase, back pack, or computer case.
Tote- 1 (for when i go swimming)
I prefer cloth over leather, and most of my bags are cloth.

I use big purses because i always carry 1-2 books with me, along with lotion, purfume, a sudoku book etc. Lots of room.

Status: offline 		I have so many purses, I'd say I have at least 12 or 15 of them (don't know for sure). But, the ones I use most are the larger purses w/straps, and the huge Hobo bags w/straps. I have a few Clutches I use for evening wear, but I hate using them, because I can never fit enough stuff in them; no matter which ones I buy, there is never seems to be room in them for more than a lipstick, a comb, some credit cards and a handkerchief.

My sister makes fun of me, as she hardly uses a purse at all, anymore - and has been using one of those "string wallet" thingys instead of a purse, for a few years now. I could never do that, it's just not possible.

Status: offline 		I use a smallish purse, but usually also carry a book bag or sling backpack, depends on what's going on.  Sometimes I change before going to my second job and I throw my clothes in the backpack.
I have loved purses and wallets since childhood.  My grandma used to indulge me by allowing me to play with her collection of purses.  I can waste a lot of time in the handbag section of a department store. 
I prefer smaller leather purses and I just carry the bare essentials.

Status: offline 		If I want a bag with lots of pocket and separate compartments,
then the Army + Navy surplus store is the place to look.
The bags are not as attractive, but they are practical and
affordable.  Do you have stores selling those types of products
in the UK?

Status: offline 		Since I take my laptop almost everywhere I go a computer bag is my first choice, I enjoy having it.  It has plenty of pockets and space for just about everything.  BUT I also carry a back pack when I can't lug my laptop around (its heavy) and I have an LV clone for when I am in a dress store or something of that nature.  When you carry a back pack, they act like you are trying to steal things....I would rather not have the hassle.  All this stuff (except my computer bag) stays in my car so I have it when I need it.  Otherwise I am not a big purse person at all.  Give me a jacket or cargo pants with pockets for my wallet, my keys and my cell phone and I am good to go.

Status: offline 		Oh boy I must be the "wierdo" of the bunch. I own two purses and both are black (yes because it goes with everything) One is my everyday bag to carry all my crap in and the other is a dress purse for dressy occasions. I also have a backpack but thats for carrying my textbooks in so I don't really think it qualifies as a "purse".

The only one I could not check was computer bag.

I have no idea how many I have. Everything from beaded evening bags to daily use (currently my Betsey Johnson Good Girl X-large recently switched to give a Brahmin croc tote a rest) to a trusty old Coach tote to......sheesh.......a back pack or two for camping/traveling. Fabric/vinyl totes for beachy, camping, car travel type stuff. Oh good grief, I have too many to even thing about.

1 small leather clutch
1 Prada knockoff ( LOL!)
1 Liz Claiborne blue suede hobo
1 big-ass black leather jam bag/tote
1 big-ass candy striped canvas tote I snagged in Florida somewhere

I've come to accept to inevitable fact.. I'll never own a real Prada. Never ever. Unless we win the lottery. Which we don't even play, so not bloody likely.
