About a year ago I met someone who has introduced me to new things slowly, has opened up my sensuality and I find that many of my deepest curiosities are being encouraged such as the Master/slave relationship all though this he and I are not in a commited relationship and I would like to be.

I don't really know how to really have this discussion with him as we have joked and played around a bit but I would like it to move on into a more involved level of Mastery. He has recently been more "commanding" with me both in the bedroom and out and I like it but I know in public my defiant side comes out more. But I feel that we should discuss this first before we begin our more puiblic display of this relationship. Basically, I feel that I would submit to this man in so many ways and I don't want this to end up being an experiment gone bad.....

I am looking for advice, encouragement, suggestion, guidance, whatever on how to push through my shyness. I have lived a very sheltered life and find that this man knows my limits, he is truly my best friend and would be able to push me through some fears or curious moments in a good way. He has always shown nothing to me but the fact that I can truly trust him and would like to seriously make an attempt at this Lifestyle a little moreseriously than just goofing around.

You don't happen to keep a journal that he reads do you? Because you could mention it there.

I don't have a lot of experience, but with my last Master I started a journal and my first entry I wrote as if I was writting him a letter at the end offering myself to him. I emailed him the link and the next morning he had me on my knees vowing to serve only him.

But I don't know exactly your situation or his.. so consider all options.

Trust Him.. talk to Him...

i have been my Master's for a total of 15 years... i, however, had not fully submitted to him until a little over 6 years ago. We had "played" here and there, but were primarily in a vanilla relationship. It took many long discussions, a lot of research on both ends(castlerealm is my favorite), and then we talked some more. It took me awhile to truly open up to Master, as i had tended to be shy in the beginning, for the fear of hurting His feelings, and i wanted to please Him so much. i wanted to make Him happy, but deep down i had some pretty wicked thoughts, some pretty wild fantasies. It truly took me awhile to openly say want i was thinking. Thus began my journaling. i don't hold back when i write, especially when i get going on a subject *lol* So perhaps you can start a journal. Put down all your thoughts, desires, questions, etc.

It also took me a while to stop being the same as you.... a little defiant in public. Back to the drawing board, as Master has said *giggle* Through soul searching, gentle nudging and guidance from Him, more researching, and finally being just plain honest with myself, i knew in my heart that i wanted the world to know i was owned by my Master... i am very proud of the fact now, and don't care what others think. i am owned, collared, His.. however you wish to think of it, and proud of it! He is happy.. i am happy, and our relationship gets better each day.

Thank you for your replies, they are much appreciated. I think I may sit down with him tonight and find out just how much this man truly wants to Master me.
