Looking at other recent threads here about boots / shoes and bags, it seems to me most people have an 'obssession' with one or the other. You either own 20 or so bags or 20 or so pairs of shoes. Wellllll it got me thinking and i've decided that im a complete shopoholic.
I have :-
20ish bags
50 / 60 pairs of boots and shoes
25ish pairs of jeans
30ish skirts
25ish dresses
100ish pairs of knickers / boxers / thongs
30ish bras
10 bikinis (i live in th uk lol)
75ish tshirts
25ish jumpers
12ish corsets
Is this an all round obssession or are there others here that own the same sort of amount of clothing all round. Please say there is i dont want to be a freak!!

Edited to add i bought three new vintage summer dresses today - they are so cute

after i broke my foot, i had to clean out my big truck & bring all the things into my home...i have finished washing all the laundry & had to go out & buy more hangers & move some things into the spare bedroom closet--i wondered why i rented a 2-bedroom place to live in on my own--& am looking at buying another dresser...now, mind you, i have given away a couple of large boxes of clothes to the neighbor...i'm telling myself that i have this much now because i had to have 6 weeks' worth of wardrobe on the truck in case i couldn't stop to do the laundry...plus, of course, i had to have clothes at home for the 4 or so days every 5-6 weeks that i spent here...the only thing you have me beat on is shoes/boots & handbags because i didn't have much use for them driving a semi...but i do have the very cool Harle-Davidson motorcycle boots & i haven't ridden in years.......

edited to add:  of course if i'm being honest, did i really need all that sexy lingerie to wear under my flannel & jeans while driving a semi???  YESSSSS!!!!!!  essential items in my book....

hehe..i'm a total shopaholic too..but i hate having so much stuff with me..

so i'm constantly giving clothes, shoes, purses away..never my accessories..

for example, every time a new season comes, i give away whatever i didnt wear the entire past season..(so it's almost time for me to go through all my winter clothes and just keep the ones i wore)

but i think i buy atleast one pair of earrings a week and a purse and pair of shoes a month..

i've been buying a dress, cute cami top and babydoll top everytime i go shopping too~

hehehe..shopping is too delicious to give up~

Ack!...this thread came up at the worst time!

I went shopping today and got: 5 pairs of dress slacks, 5 dress shirts, 2 belts, hose and a cute night shirt I could NOT pass up.

I wouldnt know without counting MissT; might be easier to weigh?

Suffice to say I have a large wardrobe full, a four foot wide x four foot high chest of drawers full, a smaller chest of drawers full, plus stuff hanging up off the wardrobe, piles of stuff on top of the chest of drawers plus whats in for washing, whats out drying and what I'm wearing.

As with the shoes though, I probably only actually regularly wear 10% of what I have. But its not about wearing it, its about having it.

I'm definitely a shoe slut.  At last count, I had over 100 pairs and that isn't counting the boots.  Definitely addicted.

I've pared down a LOT since realizing how little I wore certain things, and I've given away and donated to charity buttloads of stuff since I gained weight and changed sizes. I used to be in about the same range as you missturbation, but not anymore. I would guess my shoes/boots come out to about 100 or so, and I'm replacing panties that don't fit with each paycheck. But then I have a box filled with stationary supplies, a plastic tub filled with nothing but purses, bags, and cloth storing "things" of all sizes, a collection of stuffed cats, a collection of stuffed ducks, all the snowflake stuff, the fairy things, the tinkerbell stuff, the jewelry (OMG the jewelry) the 7 bookshelves worth of books, the huge plastic tub filled with rope, the toolbox filled with clothespins, clips, and clamps, the sex toy collection, the 7 harnesses for dildos....

Yeah, you aren't alone. I just don't buy clothes anymore, I buy other stuff I don't need.
