You should take notice of the answers you've gotten. I have and what I see is that not one person is supporting you thus far in terms of what you feel you have a right to be angry about. It happens to every dominant on here...the email sent and not replied to. ~shrugs~ Depending on the type of email sent, it can be a bit annoying but, for me anyway, not that big of a deal. Actually, I've been pretty lucky...almost everyone I have ever sent a message to has written me back, even if it was only for a couple of short emails in which we got to know each other better. Maybe part of that is because... I don't do form letters I don't do "cut and paste" I usually write people because of something they've said on a thread and not just out of the blue. I have a couple of times because of something in their profile and I have made comment on that but I've done that only rarely. My profile is an honest portrayal of what I have to offer with very little negativity in it. Does that mean I am never negative? Oh, hell no!! but I reserve that negativity for expression here on the boards where it is applied...when I feel it...in a much more articulated manner and to a specific topic under discussion where there is back and forth between several posters. Putting it into a profile results in one main thing being noticed and that is, as others have posted and which Tempting put into caps, NEGATIVITY. And by the by, if you take the time to read my profile, you will note that I am not super-duper gentle dom nor am I uber Dom. I am just...me... after all, how much more magnificence than that do you need? [;)]

start off by toning down your profile, nobody says you can't be honest, just try to be more positive, heck look in the dictionary or theasauraus if you get stuck. ( I do. :) Also you could bite the bullet and ask people on here how to make your profile more appealing, but also being honest. :) And I have to go with the general opinion that threatening to expose subs nics just because they didn't respond to you, isn't a smart move.

Am I reading the same profile everyone else is? I do not see anything objectionable -- except, of course, that they are interested in female not male submissives, the usual story. I'd wear a dress if that is what it took to play with them, and you can bet I would read their mail and respond promptly.

I receive mails while I clearly am not interested. If it's a pollied email and I'm in the mood and it's not the 8th mail in a week I sometimes help people to find the way to a group of Femdoms or so. But if the guy starts telling me how he want to be my slave or gets very clear about HIS needs, I just put him on the blacklist because I don't want to invest time in those kind of people. At first I didn't do that and the guys didn't answer my questions or didn't read my response. Some guys even think they are Natures gift to women. Let me be clear: if I get out the house I can pick up a guy to sleep with every day when I want it. I don't, and most of us don't want that either. I want to be pampered and served the way and when I want it. And that does not include a rough stranger.

Why would someone be online and not read emails? Possibly because he/she checked a profile first and found it offensive in some way. Or read this thread. Or didn't care for the writer's choice of nickname. In the past, I've politely said "thanks but no thanks" innumerable times, with the predominant response being accusations of not being "real," "submissive" or other equally silly things. The first few are maybe a little amusing. After that, fuggedaboudit. It's not worth my time, effort or energy. All I have in my current profile is a list of observations that come from being on CM. Them who "gets" 'em gets 'em. The rest can buy a clue. No apologies, no excuses, no idiots.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but someone mentioned something in an earlier posting that sound like a good idea. If I wanted to post a "Take a look at my profile and give me your opinion on it" thread, which category should I stick it under? Some one this thread is under or a different one? We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread... To be honest, I'd consider myself happy if I ever I got a "thanks but no thanks" email, so never getting a reply is simply par for the course in my experience.
