Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I think pre-drinking it is advisable to take B6 and B12, that's what one of friends used to pass out to everyone, prior to the start of a party.

That sounds familiar, Katy.  Do you think it helps?
I always remind people to eat first, have plenty of water,
space out the time between drinks, stop before getting
sick, and have a Designated Driver or take a taxi.
 
The majority of the time, I get to be the Designated
Driver.  So having a boy who will drive gives me the
opportunity to have a wine or cocktail with dinner is a treat.

i like taco bell or greasy egg sandwiches. anything high in fat content to absorb the residual alcohol in my blood stream. and water in between drinks is key no not puking, LOL

I don't know if it (the vitamins) help, but a friend of mine swears by it.  I forgot about drinking a lot of water.  That helps keep you hydrated.  One of main reasons people suffer hangovers is because they are dehydrated.

other than not getting a hangover, by drinking plenty of water and taking an asperin at the beginning and end of the night... i recommend biting the dog back

I am a weirdo. I have never had a hangover. I have been known to worship the porcelain god while still in party mode if I do not pay attention to my body saying "enough!!!"

This works A few Zantac or generic thereof while drinking definitely helps dramatically...Or "Chasers" actually do work.....True story:..Was out drinking downtown few years back had some Walgreens knock off Zantac in a plastic bag (there were a few of us out that night)...Some dumb girl was asking if we had some "X" we said no, but we did have some "Pink Ladies"...long story short ...Sold her two Zantac for a hundred bucks...A friend who works for the DEA said we committed a felony....We considered it nothing more than a "Fun"ely...Then went and got burritos.

For some reason wine makes me feel like crap the next day.  Two glasses can do me in.  A lot of that probably has to do with not drinking enough water.  It also gives me headaches, which I think is common with wine for some people.
