My only qualifications for writing advice to men who seek a dominant
woman via the web are that I've been lucky enough to had kind words
from dominant women who saw things I wrote. Oddly often in a context
that offered no clue to my own D/s inclinations. And that is how I met
the woman who has become such an important part of my life.

This is the initial draft. I'm toying with maintaining either two
versions: long and short. Or an outline and more elaborate of the
psychology and philosophy (to use a pair of rather too fancy words) of
communicating with and courting the various sorts of dominant women
online.

I just got done looking through your web pages and I enjoyed visiting it very much. This is a much better approach than any, no matter how eloquent, advertisement send, unsolicited, to my email. It shows creativity, intelligence, and a willingness to express yourself in a manner that is not abrasive and annoying.

The emails that come to my inbox that elicit a response from me are the ones that greet politely (as you suggest), state succinctly what they liked about my profile (shows they actually READ it), and then offer to be available should I want to communicate with them (and include the messenger id).

Whatever is done, advertisements, judgments, assumptions, and ignorance go a LONG way toward NOT getting the interest of the Domme (except being interested in how fast that email will delete!)

Good work on the site and a fun topic to write to. Thanks

A few years ago when I first discovered my desire to worship a woman I spent time reading the usenet newsgroup soc.subculture.bondage-bdsm.femdom. How selfish and needy ostensibly submissive men when they approached dominant women seemed to most common topic.

I’ve had good luck online with every side of my sexuality.

It always baffles me that so many men don’t understand how to use the web to make friends and court partners.

I agree with you guys. I have learned that if a male does not use an extremely polite and respectful tone in the first message (and each one thereafter), it's a sure sign that he is just looking for sex or personal satisfaction. While there are many males out there who claim to want a Domme, only a few are interested in pleasing their owner rather than themselves.

I read over the piece within the links...

This is so true.
The "I'll do anything sentiment" so often conveyed... my first thought after reading this.... B*LL$H!T

Often the letters from these "subs/slaves" consist of less than half a dozen lines of mispelled, abbriviated (net lingo) & poorly formed sentence structure. How can anyone expect interest when absolutely nothing of interest is offered??

Why do Domme's not respond?... again you hit the nail right on the head. We often receives dozens & dozens of these blank meaningless emails. I can't speak for every woman online with a profile, but I can answer for myself... I do not spend countless hours sitting in front of my computer, obviously this doesn't allow me the time to reply to every one-line email I receive. I do however reply to the polite, intelligent, interesting emails.
