Thank you all for making me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants!

Actually I feel quite normal now and maybe I should print this thread out and show it to my family who always said how weird I was because of the way I ate my Reeces Peanut Butter Cups. Of course, you have to nibble all the edges off, then eat the top layer of chocolate, then the bottom, and then finally the peanut butter. Otherwise, well hell, they just don't taste the same!

And all I could think about with the talk of "icky" feet was the horror of wearing rented bowling shoes!!! That would be a punishment for the worst infraction for me...........*shudder*

Still chuckling,
harmony

Reading and listening material has to be in its proper alphabetical order.

Except for very cheaply made paperbacks with thick spines, I can read a book and make it look like it can go back on the shelf as new ... people who 'break' books freak me out and I loath loaning books to people (actually I'd rather just loan a hardback).

I actually find mild OCD endearing in a woman, this is an incredibly hot thread for me LOL

My subby hubby has had to learn my quirks and deal with them:

I like my sandwiches cut diagonally.

Towels and blankets must be folded correctly.

Video games, vhs, and dvds are alphabetized in their respective collections. (Exception: PS1 games are catergorized first; hubby is obsessive as well)

Toilet tissue must go on with the free edge on top.

Toothpaste must be squeezed from the bottom, not the middle.

Cereal boxes are arranged facing the same way and in size order on the refridgerator.

All food labels in the kitchen face front.

You all must think I'm a nut case! LOL

Sia, more poeple could take better care of their feet. Our feet bear the brunt of our body, they transport us places and some of us are on our feet for hours. The feet diserve TLC.

BlackGoddess2u I like the toilet paper that way too lol it bugs me when people put it on where it rolls from the back or the bottom. I like it to roll right from the top. to me not away from me.

Ok, so now I have somemore oddities, yep the toothpaste, hairconditioners that come in a tube have to be squeezed from the bottom have even been known to take and use a butter knife to ensure that all the product is squeezed from the bottom of the tube, and I use my directional all the time, even when going out the driveway, towels have to be folded a certain way, Master insists on doing the laundry and he folds the towels all wrong and I go behind him and fold them right, and he hangs the clothes really weird on the hanger, I go behind him and hang them right, he doesn't fold socks when I put them away they are folded and put in seperate area of drawer, not just thrown in it. things in the cupboard are organized to purpose, canned veggies in order, corn with corn, peas with peas, etc. when I moved in with master it took me two days to organize the cupboards, I am so glad he lets me take care of them , and when we shop he dumps everything out of the bags onto the counter, this is an irk for me, I want to take things out of the bag right into the cupboard otherwise you handle it twice in my book so he brings in from the car and I put away, Lol I think this is all of my quirks, (I hope)

LMAO...this thread is great!

I released a long term sub a while back. Sitting here thinking about the way our quirks clashed has had me laughing to the point of tears.

We had pen wars.

I collect pens. They have to be this certain type of pen too, that leaves just the right type of line. My pens are very dear to me.

Unforunately, my sub was just as bad with pens. He liked the ones that I did as well as sparkly ones that wrote in funny colors and such.

Every once in awhile I would find his "secret pen stash", replete with my missing pens. It was a HUGE issue between us. Looking back its funny that we both got so worked up over our oh so precious pens.

I remember riding in his work truck one day, where he kept one of his pen stashes. I needed a pen and he had this glitter barrel, neon pastel blue gel ink pen. The type of pen you expect a 12 year old girl to own. Ok, now picture this man - construction worker, 220 lbs., long hair, big muscles, covered in tattoos. I figured he'd be happy to get rid of that pen. I can only imagne the teasing he must have endured from his coworkers just for having it so blatantly visible in his truck. So, long story short....he nearly wrecked the truck by letting go of the wheel and frantically grabbing his "special pen" with both hands when I went to reach for it.

Also, he had this thing with stairs.

I always walk in front of a man on the stairs, so he gets a good view. I find men are usually in a very receptive state at this point - the motions of walking up long flights of stairs, the swaying of my hips, and the clicking of my heels are all repetitive and monotonous enough to induce a semi-trance state, the environment of a stairwell blocks out distractions, and having my ass in thier face heigtens thier sexual receptiveness and lowers thier resistance. Its an ideal time to deliver lectures on protocol or give detailed instructions.

But with my sub, it never seemed to work. In fact, instead of internalizing things I said in that environment to a deeper degree, he seemed to be sort of oblivious to anything I had said in that setting. It finally all made sense when I found out his OCD compulsion - he had to count stairs as he climbed them! He wasn't paying me any attention at all!

I will say all of his neat freak things did make him a great housecleaner!

I have my own things....I can't stand noise inside the house. No TV, no radio...the washer and dryer have to go outside where I can't hear them run. A lot of times I will leave the AC off because I just can't stand to hear it run.

I think all of us in this lifestyle have a tendency to be a bit odd....

Oh, I do this (I tend to forget things unless others mention them) and I always have to end on a multiple of four (but not a multiple of three, so not 12, 24 etc.). Somtimes I will have to skip a step or step twice on one step to make it work out, but it's very imprtant. I will have to go walk the stairs again if someone inturrupts.

I also do this when chewing food or gum (which is why I never chew gum, I can't do anything else if I do!).

Ugh.. I forget so many things.. As I re-read my posts.. I now TOTALLY get why all my friends say I'm "Monica" from "Friends". *laughs*

Tubed things, like toothpaste.. absolutely MUST be squeezed from the bottom (and lids kept on and tightly closed as well).

Shower Curtains must be kept closed.

Toilet paper MUST have the end coming up and to the front, not behind and under.

Hubby no longer attempts to fold laundry, actually he's been banned from doing any laundry unless he needs soccer clothes (which he tends to leave in his trunk so they don't get washed until he brings them in). He used to get irritated with me for refolding everything, but he realized he wasn't going to win that battle. His folding isn't that dissimilar to rolling everything into a ball. He's tried to learn the "proper" methods and he doesn't have the coordination at all.

cheryl - that thing with bringing in the groceries would drive me batty as well. I always take the filled bags to wherever the items are to go, then empty it. (I have my groceries packed with like items in the same bag)

Obsessive compulsive disorder can be fun for a top tp play with.

I had one girl I would forbid to pick up the socks I tossed in the middle of the living room floor-just to be an asshole.

She'd twitch every time she had to walk by them-how amusing.

Glad to see i'm in a good league of individuals

Toothpaste must be squeezed from the bottom of the tube, and keep that lid on!

Laundry is folded a particular way (that's habit from the military - good thing Master is a veteran too *L*)

my desk both at work and at home is anally organized, down to the paper clips. Folders are color coded, pens have lids on them and are in a separate container than the pencils. Pencils must be kept sharpen at all times, i hate a dull pencil, and i can't stand anything out of place.. it drives me nuts!!

dishes have to be washed in a certain order

i'm not anal about food touching.. so that's not on my list...

horse tack must be clean before putting away.. i can't stand having my saddle all sweated up from a long trail ride and just put away.. nope.. gotta get the saddle soap, hot water and oil out... *L* (Master get's annoyed at this one because it takes so long)

i am sure i have more... boy this thread has made me think, that's for sure *LOL*

Master's petal

I finally ventured into this thread. I guess i am very different than most of you.

I seldom make the bed, no one else sees it.
I leave dishes in the sink overnight because I am tired after dinner.
My closet and drawers are a jumble, but i know where everything is.
My house is sanitary but cluttered unless we have guests coming.
I couldn't care less if my food touches or what order I eat it in.
I fold laundry without thinking about it, seldom the same way twice.
I like both hot and cold tea.
My books are in no certain order.
I couldn't care less if my pens have covers.
I only squeeze the toothpste from the bottom when it is almost empty.

Master punished me last week for putting the toilet paper on wrong, He is fussy about that and i wasn't thinking.

Occassionally i will count something irrationally, but that's about it.

The only thing i really have well organized are my ongoing projects like the upcoming wedding, my ladies golf club projects, and everything on my computer.

I guess i'm the abnormal one here LOL.

I suppose the term is best decided if you are a Clinical Dr. or not.
Personally most of them are just odd propensities that we all each have and develop over a period of time.
Some things may bother one an not the other.

Hey lil1v I never thought to do that but am sure Master would blow a gasket if I insisted on it when in the store,LOL. Or he would think I flipped my lid for sure. Will have to remember that when I go to the store by myself and see what happens. Haven't yet gotten him to stop dumping the groceries yet he has to do at least one before I get in the house, LOL. And He just refuses to let me do the laundry, that I don't understand, but I still redo what he does as far as folding and hanging. I just can't help it. And the other morning he took socks out of his drawer pulled them apart and guess decided they weren't the ones he wanted and put them back in the drawer UNFOLDED, yikes. Grins, guess what they are now.! ! ! !

*laughs hard*

Thats too funny :)

I gave up on hubby's sock drawer as he would do that all the freaking time and it would just be a mess anyway. I have to have my socks folded (like you buy them at the store, not tucked into each other) and lined up in my drawer in the proper sequence.

hubby however likes his tucked into each other in a ball, which makes me cringe cuz it "stretches" out the tops of the socks. Then he just throws them in his drawer haphazzardly. *cringe*

So I don't fold socks anymore. I take mine out and fold them, but his are left in the basket for him to do with what he wants. I wash and fold everything else. I think he can handle his socks. *grins*

I just buy all the exact same socks and dump them all in a drawer and they always match, all the time. And that way, if one gets dirty-looking I can throw it out and not lose a pair, just one sock (I hate it when my socks look dirty)

I wear Tommy Hilfiger low cut athletic socks for women, but I only wear them to work or when I am going to the gym. The rest of the time I wear sandles.
