Hi Everyone,

I want to pick all your brains about something I'm looking for. I'm looking for large stainless steel rings with a diameter between 3-1/4" to 3-1/2" and about 3/8" thick. I recently got a lead that boat supply stores carry these rings but I haven't found what I'm looking for locally yet. Anyone know where these rings are used so I can look up related local stores and check them out?

And yes, they are for something kinky and bondage related

as per your search for these rings ..if you can get Me exact specs on them and what you plan doing with them it is possible that I can form them for you ........thing I need to know is if your planning to hang weight from them ect so that I know exactly what they are used for and how to fabricate them...

Hi Alloces,

What I plan on doing with them is fabricating my own version of "The Wrist Cage" found here: http://www.rainbowrope.com/steel.html In my own style of doing things.

From what I've figured out, 3/8" rod should be a good size. And the ring should have a inside diameter of 3-1/4" to 3-1/2".

I have a good collection of tools but not everything I need to bend them properly.

Just today I finally got an affirmative answer from a local supplier. About CDN$12 a pop. So I bought 4 and will pick them up friday. I haven’t completely dismissed the idea of selling off a few of these if people are interested, so I may still be able to use your services. If I did sell them, they sure as hell wouldn't be for the asinine price of US$350. But for now it's going to be a 2-off job. I'll post here when I get it finished.

Well if your looking for rings at really great prices in the size you mentioned, i would go to a farm supply company. I have purchased several large rings from Farm and Fleet and other farm supplies stores. look under cattle/pig nose rings, they are made in stainless steel and brass. and i have purchased rings up to 5 in in Dia.

At farm and Fleet they run about $6.00 to 12.00 each depending on the size

you might also try a tandy leather store, or a tsc store (tractor supply company). TSC store's are usually in the outer 'burbs, and tandy leather is in most major cities. Tandy can also be found at the link below:
