I've had three major, long term relationships, the first knows next to nothing about my past, and nothing at all of the bad, heck he is a lot of my bad adulthood. My soon to be ex husband I did tell most everything too and he took advantage of it. Right now the person I am involved with does know a lot, maybe more that anyone else and he's still around but he's more messed up than I am even and he knew me through most of it which does make a difference. I still though have moments when I think he will leave me if he realizes how messed up I am.

Okay, quickly... and you still owe me that story... He moves across the street from a middle school play ground where he watches the kiddies... and notices a guy doing the same thing... though he still has the inherent desire to be with little girls, he works on building a relationship with the woman and ends up pummeling the guy who is molesting kids from the playground across the street in an overt outward extension of trying to beat it out of himself.

I have a question on your thread. I have my what i consider 2 worst secrets out in plain sight in my profile and journal. I want any perspective Dom to already know what he will be dealing with. My question is what about what i call childhood issues from upbringing. Should they be left until you have made a commitment as they deal more in if you would do certain things such as using types of items in playing. For example my dad once beat me with his belt, he just unfastened it pulled it through the loops doubled it and started swinging. To this day i can not stand to hear or see a belt be pulled from the loops of a mans pants without shaking. I will have nightmare that night and for days later. My dad was a very strit disciplinarian. He used the belt quite frequently on me and my siblings. But he had never beat me all about my body except that one time. Are these kind of things best told after a commitment is made? I would think they would be but am not really sure so as usual am confirming my decision. Thank you patina
