Do you check your Bulk Mail?

Religiously. I may be willing to compromise on a few points.

So, I've noticed people complaining that nobody responds to their email, and some folks have even mentioned that their mail never even gets read. It occured to me that some folks on CollarMe have their interest search set in such a way that they may be filtering for orientation, gender, age, location, role, body type -- any number of attributes.

What the people complaining may not realize is that if their profile doesn't comform to their intended's interest parameters, that their mail is going to end up in their target's Bulk Mail filter. Unlike mail that gets to stay in the user's inbox, messages sent to the Bulk Mail folder don't seem to get announced by the system ... and thus could sit there for the entire six months without being read if the user never got a chance to / didn't bother to look in their Bulk Mail filter.

So, I'm curious: how many people here actually bother to check their Bulk Mail filter?

(The only other way I can think of to get around either opening the email in question or viewing the person's profile while still finding out their stats is to just mouse-over their usermame. At least, it works in the Who's Viewing Me page.)

i check mine occaisionally so that i can block the males on here that do not read my profile and know i don't wanna talk to them

Rarely get mail and it seems pointless to set bulk mail filters!

I usually forget my Bulk Mail's there, honestly .... I generally only remember to check it when I see one of those threads about people complaining their mail doesn't get read and I want to tell them to check their bulk mail.... and then remember I haven't checked mine!!!

I put everyone from outside the US in bulk mail...I usually check it once a day.

I rarely get mail anyways so I don't have the filters set...
There used to be a feature that'd say your mail was deleted unread... In another topic of this sort a person said that they got rid of it (The deleted unread feature) because subs/slaves were deleting enmass & guys were giving them a rash of shit for it... I actually fail to see the logic in that persons post as if a persons e-mail was going into their bulk folder they'd never see it anyways...
What I do is if I e-mail someone I keep the mail in My sent folder for about a week, I feel if they've not responded by then they're prolly not going to...
I then delete it, I figure hell it's their loss I know I'm a Great Dom & human being so why take it personally...

Cool..... that means the peeps complaining about not getting their mail read actually have a way of figuring out if it has been or not (at least deleted unread). Maybe that will cut down on the complaint threads.

im the same as bear dont get enough ordinary mail to be swamped never mind ever having a need for bulk mail settings . besides i read every mail i do get if someone flames or harrases me i just block them ... no need for bulk cause i dont discriminate against orientation etc

I always answer all messages so I don't use the filter and I don't think I will ever use it (unless I start receiving thousands of messages)
