Ladies,

I would have to say that the majority of subs that respond to me are out of my state or the country. What are some ways you enjoy your long distance sub?

Yup, i would have to agree, most of the mail i get is also from out of state Dommes...not sure why. i even got one from Egypt expressing an interest in me. i simply wrote back and said i enjoyed their profile, and if they ever relocate, let me know. Until then, have a nice day. (ok sometimes, i wasn't that nice about it, but you get the idea)

Several years ago, I owned a sub who lived several hours from here. I would see him in real time about once a month, but would give him assignments to carry out between visits. I have no desire to chat on IM, do cam sessions (except for students), or maintain a long distance relationship. The only reason for any long distance interaction is if we are working toward a viable move in a reasonable time period. Exce[ptions to this, of course, are long distance "friends" wherein there is never any intent to move toward a D/s or M/s relationship. Just two people, Dominant and sub interacting in a platonic manner.
So in answer to your thread title I would say "leave 'em".

It's difficult enough to find the right person or people for a ltr without limiting myself to my own area. As far as I am concerned if we want the right person in life someone is probably going to have to relocate.
I can't at the moment. I have vanilla responsibilities. Therefore it has to be my sub/slave. If I ever find someone who will stick around long enough to find out if we are right for one another.
It is my experience that submissive men seem to expect to become property overnight. If they are prepared to offer themselves that quickly they will probably vanish just as quickly when the going gets tough.
If that sounds cynical it's probably because it is.
