RanchMaster -> RE: what's the point? (3/27/2007 8:46:30 AM)

Yes we are all people, but what we chose to call ourselves is based on what we feel inside, either something that we just recently discovered or have known for years about our selves. On your profile you state you feel that you are more of a bottom than a submissive, but this place does not offer you that choice. I think that it is impossible for a site to offer a category for each individual. I do not have a category that fits me perfectly, but that is ok. If a category were made to cover each preference, I would bet that only a couple of people would fit into each category. Unfortunately I did not read your original post, but how about a welcome even though it is late coming? Hang in there it is very frustrating at times on these types of sites, a person will look through thousands of profiles, and then wait patiently for the right connection to happen, and it does not come, as soon as we would like, that is just how the world works. To answer your question in your subject line “What’s the point?” The point is to get people to see you, to know you, to read your profile, had you not posted here, I would not have seen your profile. There is a tab on the left side of your home page that will tell you who is viewing you, take a look at it from time to time, and I bet you will notice that your profile will get more views after you have been active in the community and people are seeing you out and about so to speak. I look at it like a party, if I go and stand by the back wall all night long, I am not going to meet people and have any fun at all, but if I am out talking (using the message boards) than I am improving the chances of me having a good time. Take care.
