i've got a 1GB Creative Muvo... right now it's still got relaxation/work music on it- Tori Amos, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Anna Nalick, Nina Gordon... will probably switch it over to road trip music next month. i saw Lacuna Coil live last year... it wasn't a bad show, but the music lost some of the complexity that you get from the studio versions, and didn't really gain anything in return. Then again, i think the venue had a shitty sound system, because the headlining band (A7X) was even more disappointing. ...dave

Since getting a MP3 player I find I download a lot more stuff that I wouldn’t usually. Strange how mine is full of crap songs I liked at the time. I think the makers of MP3 players should create a ‘no play list’ like they have play lists. This would mean I get to keep the crap music and maybe one day I will love it again. I get bored if I hear the same music over and over again, even if it is really good music that other people say they could listen to over and over and never get bored of it. The good thing about downloading music rather than buying it is you are tempted to try types of music you wouldn’t normally consider so in this case I suppose it’s a good thing but I have also collected such strange music because of this and I wouldn’t even be tempted to share it.
