I am relatively new to collarme, so am not sure if this is the proper area to post this thread under, but here goes....at present there is no organized group that I can find any info about in my area, and know of no munches that are held at all. I do not know if this will be beyond my time constraints to set up, but does anyone have any suggestions how to get a group organized my area, and how to get organized enough to be able to hold a munch? Obviously, a lot of us in the area are professionals, so the organization must be handled with discretion. I will gladly take any suggestions

This article is a bit dated. You will have to mentally note where the technology is either quaint or of a by-gone era. But she founded and has successful run her group for a number of years. So perhaps you will find some useful advice in it

While I don't precisely know where in AL you live (and it's none of my business), here are some AL groups I found. Perhaps one is close to you.

I know Dothan isn't that close to MGM, but there is a great group that I joined while I was there. They have frequent munches and parties. Central Alabama Power Exchange in Montgomery. SAFE doesn’t have play parties, but they do meet. Actually it is in Dothan. I know Sylacauga is far but the folks there are wonderful. Always enjoyed myself with them. Worth the trip.

Thanks so much folks, will get on these links, and see what I can find!!!![sm=kiss.gif] I had a few in the area let me know they would like a group, but it was rather daunting to think about doing it with no pointers or insights(since there have been so few to let me know in advance). If anyone else has any other pointers, I am definitely open for suggestions!!!!![;)]
