Hi All,

What is your favorite scene music? Mine is "Dead Can Dance" and I know everyone likes Enigma. Any others that you prefer?

Personally I prefer no music, the sounds of the breathing, the thumping, the gasping and all of that make up the right sounds for a scene. I also have hearing loss so being able to focus on what the other person is saying is good.

But I like anything that gives me energy, Britney Spears, Metallica, Vivaldi, Kid Rock, anything I hear that inspires energy or connection.

Hmmm.... I know I just posted something in the forums about this last week....

Alan Parsons Project: Tales of Mystery and Imagination. (Edgar Alan Poe)
Gregorean chants and Catholic choir music for religious scenes.

I'm thinking of making my own recording for flogging by actually flogging a kettle drum. I might try a regular bass drum set if I can't borrow a kettle drum for a few days. Anyway, the idea is to create a beat that is exactly on tempo with my styles and switch-ups. After thats created, I want to find a decent garage band to create music around my beat. With luck, I should be able to get the project underway this summer...

i'm in love with trance-y stuff for playing (and in general)...massive attack, thievery corporation, zero 7...peter gabriel's "passion" (the soundtrack for "last temptation of christ") is great, too...
