JerseyKrissi72 -> Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 12:14:54 PM)

I am so happy that I can have my windows open here, a cool breeze coming in- the sun is out- it really does lift my spirits. What are some things that you enjoy now that spring is here? For me, I would have to say the beautiful flowers[:)]

Summer shoes - girlie frocks [:D]

jezzabelle -> RE: Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 12:49:26 PM)

Well, spring isn't quite here just yet, almost though.  i'm a bit north of you krissi.  But, i love the flowers too, hearing the frogs peep in the backyard, seeing the butterflies again, and being able to walk outside barefoot again (i hate wearing shoes and socks)

redsky -> RE: Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 12:53:56 PM)

washing the car & not freezing myself to death while doing it![:D]

Well it is always kind of spring like here in So Cal but I have to go with things turning green again. All the cute little bicyclists in their spandex shorts going on long rides. Wearing sandals to show off the pedis again.

I remember Southern Cali and I loved the weather there..wish I could move back[:(]  I love watching all the men washing their cars with their shirts off[8D]

Woot! Add that to my list as well, and half naked male joggers. Mmmmm. I think I'll have to go for a nice little drive down to the beach today. Damn I miss my convertible. It is the perfect day for ogling eye candy from a convertible.

o.k. now you are gonna tease me![:@]  I would brag about the nude beach here in Jersey but (vomits) you don't wanna see the things I have seen..over 70 and jogging nude is not sexy to me

sub4hire -> RE: Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 1:13:57 PM)

Today we have thunderstorms and lightning.  Its beautiful outside, but it doesn't remind me of a spring day.

mnottertail -> RE: Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 1:16:32 PM)

That is the first true day of spring to me.  Busts up the frost and lets the standing water seep in the ground and gets it green.

Ron

Nawww teasing you would be mentuioning it is 75 degrees with a slight breeze, blue skies without a cloud in sight.

We have Black's Beach here and San Onofre. Trust me...it is called selective vision. You just have to blind yourself to the over 70 potbellied wrinkle d*cks and focus on the 20 -30 something hardbodies.

Fast Reply:

I love the flowers, and the green grass which i haven't seen for weeks. I could definitely do without the smell of freshly cut grass though. Ick.

Oh, and i love the spring clothes. Full of bright colors, and skirts and flip flops. I live in flip flops from about april until it's too cold to wear them still.

JerseyKrissi72 -> RE: Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 1:37:52 PM)

is it just me that loves the smell of rain in the spring? I just bought myself some flowers, some purple lilacs..they smell so beautiful.[:)]

litleone8620 -> RE: Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 1:47:20 PM)

The smell of rain can go either way here, depending on what side of town you're on.

I live across the street from the major milk factory here, and they plant tulips every spring. Sometimes i just want to run over there and steal some.

I use to live across from a field where there was wild mint growing and the smell was wonderful when the wind would blow..I would go over there and pick some along with wild flowers that would grow.[:)]

Hello. =)

I love the morningsongs of the birds.. the perky chirp of the robin, the "purtee purtee purtee" of the cardinals. It's like they're welcoming the new day. =)

Bearlee -> Oh... this should fix it! heh heh heh (3/29/2007 2:32:53 PM)

Okay...I vote we stop posting to this thread to keep the damn thing from appearing in my forum-list.

It's SNOWING HERE!!!

Speaking of birds.  Anyone know where you can buy freeze dried caterpillars in bulk?  I've recently learned the benefits of having insect eating birds around.  Although I can't find caterpillars in bulk anywhere.

sillygirl09 -> RE: Now That Spring Is Here... (3/29/2007 4:17:35 PM)

Many things.... it's light out more... the flowers (esp pansies) and everyone just seems nicer and happier. [:D]
